I'm in again this week - fluttering rather than fully fledged but I'm working on it.

    Pigpen - that's a beautiful picture :)

    So far I've done
    - a walk to the shops for my HHE
    - HH clearing paperwork from the hall table - need about two more hours to clear so this is an ongoing project
    - cleaned and polished the bannister on the stairs - hmm will OH notice when he wakes up?
    - started cleaning spots from walls - found lots more - this could get compulsive! Think I'd better face it - need to repaint.

Running out of energy now and I've still to make dinner so may need to be realistic and do more tomorrow.

Have a good evening everyone, and hugs to all that need them.

  • I'm back again, It's been far too long since I have been on here and it shows:eek: My mum asked me if I still follow that housework thing, which is her polite way of saying my house is a mess. So I have taken the hint and today is day 1. I felt really good about my home last time I was on here which in turn made me feel good about myself so fingers crossed I will start to feel the same again soon. All that I have managed to do today is in red, not a lot but it's a start.

Any one know a good way or getting rid of marks ion walls without the paint coming off/redecorating. Thinking of getting a new settee and kow there will be marks where the old settee is. trying to think of options before I have to decorate the living room.

    thanks in advance.

First time as a proper fly lady!! Going for all three levels.

Bathroom done - bath, shower and even quick flick round ceiling! Wooden floor in the landing cleaned. Did downstairs loo yesterday. Taking a quick break before I start vacuuming but have cleared most of the clutter from hall, stairs and landing. Hope I get off the sofa again!!

I did get back to it and completed the three levels!! I am wrecked and it took longer than I thought - hopefully it gets easier. But it does look great and there is a nice fresh just cleaned smell all over the house!

Kitchen wiped down and floor swept- dw emptied and living room vacuumed and straightened

Will sleep tonight - what will tomorrow's thread bring??
