Monday's list done - well, I say done but I have to do my ironing which I'll do in a minute whilst watching ER . Also didn't clean the bathroom window but I did vacuum the whole house instead so think that's a fair trade off!

    Right, where's that iron? ....

Hey All, I'm new to this, can I join in? My house is a complete tip and I really don't know where to start. I'm a single Mum to a 2 boys, ages 2 and 4 and my house is a constant mess. I really want to get on top of it as it stresses me out so much and I can't relax in the evening cos so much needs doing!! The lists look pretty daunting, but I will see what I can manage!! I've been looking at the flylady site and like the idea of decluttering, as I'm sure that's a lot of my problem, there is so much stuff everywhere that it's constantly untidy and makes it hard to clean! Right, i will print off today's list and see what I can get thru.

Kaz I have serious understairs cupboard envy!
Wendywitch - FB causes lots of pain! unfriend the ex BF - if it upsets you remove him to save yourself further pain.
FLIS21 - welcome to the thread.
Bonnie - sorry the job didn't work out.

OK today is not going to plan. The rush at work should have diminished but I was met by 30 emails and 10 phone messages. 15 phone calls taken. Then my mobile goes and it's school with a poorly DS3. I had walked the kids to school and then walked to work (first time since it was warm and sunny probably early September) so I had to ring DFIL to come and get me and take me to the school.

DS3 is quite sorry for himself. He has been dosed with Carrots and is lying on the sofa watching cartoons. My NN is going to bring DD2 home for me.

WM x 1 and DW x 1. All last night's ironing put away. Now to start on the list.....

Welcome Flis. Please only take babysteps. Your boys are still real young and from somebody who's first two turn 16 and 18 this year I can tell you that times goes so fast. I don't regret not doing much housework when they were little, true I'd have loved it tidy and clean but I know I spent lots of time with them.

Lamewolf - you have done great but you are not supposed to be overdoing it :naughty:

    Left to do
Wipe any marks from the walls/tiles
    HHI
Sort the bathroom cabinet - when DH puts it back on the wall tonight.

    Also need to:
Fill in DS2's form with him
    DS2 to make tomato soup
    Make cake for cake sale
    Read with DS3
    Fill in forms for DS3
    Ocado order
    Phone barn dance man
    Phone my mother

Time to get the washing in before it gets dark.

    Afternoon all

I need to make a start i've been working so haven't done any flying yet.

Ds1 hasn't come home from school on the bus and his phone is off. From past experience he's walking home i wouldn't mind if he just text me quickly to let me know. Why he would want to walk the 3.5 miles when he can get the bus i don't know. I'll give him until 4.15 then start worrying.
