Last week started pretty well, then we had a viewer come to look at our house so mid week it was a mad quick clean everywhere as we hadn't expected a viewer so quickly after the new year. Also been full of cold and keep coughing so didn't even catch up with extras over the weekend.

Therefore going to try again this week as we need to try and keep on top of things should we get anymore viewers.

after a very long absence I'm going to try and fly this week. I've got very disorganised, and have forgotten to put my wheelie bin out twice in a row, so unusually even that is pretty full. We had builders in before christmas and I'm ashamed to admit they left the part of the house cleaner than I have been recently! and, I'd like to empty the spare room before spring, with aim of taking a lodger over summer. (we don't have central heating so I can't take lodger until its reliably warmer!)

Starting with bathrooms and hall way seems the most encouraging to me and with the weather ATM feels sort of spring cleaning weather.

Right then this flying stuff needs to be done seriously to level 3 each day till the end of Jan cos I dunno wot happened to my home over Xmas but every room is a tip!

Gonna devote 3 hours every morniing to it, till home not hovel is restored. Afternoons will be devoted to job huntng.

    Extras:-
I've set myself the target of at least 1 bin bag per day of clutter out of the house each day Mon-Fri whether it be ebayed, charity shop or bin. The flat wouldn't be such a mess if there wasn't so much "stuff". The old "you can't tidy clutter" applies to me .

You are doing very well and have a good plan there

Well done, how is your pain today?

Right I seriously need to get a wiggle on as today is my only clear day for flying. See you all at lunchtime.

  • Since my last post I have dropped DS2 at school with his saxophone, briskly walked to Sainsburys(10 mins each way) to collect DH's prescription, WM x 2, put away clean and ironed clothes, bathed & brushed the dog(my bath definitely needs cleaning now), and hoovered and mopped the floors on todays list. Just having 5 mins and a coffee while they dry then I will crack on with the rest of the list.

    Morning all!

No-one told me housework was a contact sport! After one stubbed toe (end of the bed), one gashed thumb (shower door, at least it's stopped bleeding now) and one bumped head (bannister) I have now achieved:

Monday Hall, staris, landing, Bathrooms and loos

    Level One

[STRIKE]Hoover and [/STRIKE]Mop all these areas
[STRIKE]Clean sink and toilet, including the pedestal front and all the yunk behind

Hopefully I can do a bit more later without ending up in A&E!!!

    Fly-vibes to you all.
