    Hello all,

So, lets see how I get on.

Monday Hall, staris, landing, Bathroom and loo

    Level One
[STRIKE]Hoover and Mop all these areas[/STRIKE] forgot to hoover landing.

[STRIKE]Clean sink and toilet, including the pedestal front and all the yunk behind[/STRIKE] Don't have any yunk, whatever that is :D
    Level Two
[STRIKE]Clean bath, shower[/STRIKE] Baht, screen and sink is part of daily s/s, its the only way.

    [STRIKE]Empty the bins[/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Clean mirrors, [STRIKE]shower screens, window[/STRIKE]s I cleaned the toilet window.
Wipe any marks from the walls/tiles
Put away anything on the stairs or landing - Nothing there.
    Extras
    HHI
[STRIKE]Sort the bathroom cabinet - today is a special day so use some of your 'special' creams, lipsticks, bubble bath etc
[/STRIKE] All okay, Xmas smellies lined up in wardrobe to use as and when, one bottle of shower cream open.

If you have a cupboard in this area or under the stairs then give it a good sort out. Nope! :D our under-the-stairs is open and has a bookcase there. Thats all nice and tidy.
Wipe the lightshades if it is safe to do so
Check your smoke alarms, hoover if necessary and safe

Havn't quite finished the list, its bigger than usual. :D
  • WendywitchThe tax credit is a benefit paid to you on top of your net pay. Extra allowances are available to help with the cost of childcare provided by a registered childminder and after school clubs at local authority registered properties. If you are sick short term, you can still be classed as working. So you can receive working tax credit while you are on statutory sick pay (SSP), or on the low rate of incapacity benefit. All these benefits last for a maximum of 28 weeks, so if you are off sick for longer, you can no longer get working tax credit.

    Try this as well.

Basically, it says that as you are employed and in receipt of SSP, you are treated as working for the purposes of claiming WTC. Can I suggest you see a welfare rights person with a view to taking this to Tribunal?

This says similar - even stating you can be in receipt of disability (which includes sickness) related benefits to claim.

    And, more usefully, I have found this;

If you are off work for up to 28 weeks because of illness and are
    receiving either:
    • Statutory Sick Pay (SSP)
    • short-term Incapacity Benefit at the lower rate
    • an Employment and Support Allowance
    • Income Support paid on the grounds of incapacity for work, or
    • National Insurance credits on the grounds of incapacity for work or
    limited capability for work

then you will still be able to claim Working Tax Credit, provided you
worked at least 16 or 30 hours a week (whichever applied) immediately
before you started to receive any of these benefits. This also applies if you
    are self-employed.

We treat you as working if you were:
    • on maternity, paternity or adoption leave
    • on the first 10 days of strike leave, or
    • suspended from work

as long as you were working at least 16 hours a week before taking leave or
    being suspended.

When the 28 weeks of sick leave are over you continue to be eligible for
Working Tax Credit if you begin work again at that point. Any further sick
leave does not count as being in work. You must tell us within one month if
you do not go back to work after the 28 weeks.

From the WTC2 Guide to Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit. http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/leaflets/wtc2.pdf Page 12, to be precise.

    I have been very good today. I have;

    DW unload/reload
WM load (about to be unload + TD)
    Cleaned counters
Vacuumed all upstairs except for Minion's Pit of Doom
Gathered up floordrobe and dumped on armchair in bedroom
    Sort of made bed

Upstairs bathroom has been vacuumed (not mopped, though)
    Loo cleaned
    Loo seat polished
    Mirror cleaned
    Windowsill washed
Bottom window cleaned (not climbing up to do top one today)
    Vanity unit scrubbed
    Taps and sink scrubbed
    Clean towels put on rail
Minion's flannel rescued from soggy heap and put on towel rail to dry.

I wiped over the downstairs sink, etc, yesterday, but not mopped floor yet. I shall do that tomorrow, I think.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Well, in my first HHC I have:

Taken the Kitchen composting out to the garden composter,
    Emptied WM & loaded TD
    Tidied away lunch things :o
S&S kitchen sides & bleached sink
Hoover and Mop Bathroom - I also got an old toothbrush & scrubbed the floor edge where it meets the skirting all around the floor.

Clean sink and toilet, including the pedestal front and all the yunk behind - Behind the sink pedestal was really really gross. Have I EVER cleaned there ??? - I'm really not sure

Cant believe that I was so excited to get home and start my list. Bathroom is now so much cleaner than it has been for quite a while and have cleaned things that normally get left to the end. Rest of the house is still bit of a mess but hoping to have a quick tidy up after finished paperwork.
Cos I did my list fast feel like i have had a work out so not going to do my two classes tonight, save £10, get my paperwork done and then try to attack tomorrows list partially tonight once its up as tomorrow a manic day.

I find it all very confusing but basically because I was off work same time the previous year (2010) the company I work for have added it to this year (as in June 2011 onwards) sickness so it been over 28 weeks.
I personally don't understand it so the woman in H.R and the woman from tax credits explained it all to my friend and her husband as well.
I will show them what you posted when I see them on Wednesday see what they think.
None of this is helping with my depression and anxiety :(
