  • Evening everyone

Thanks again for a fantastic thread. I was quite looking forward to reading this and getting on with my flying once I got home from work. DS was so keen to get flying that I wasn't even allowed to finish my dinner in peace because he wanted to 'do housework'.

Sorry I can't keep up with the thread (too busy) but I hope it's still ok to report in with my progress as it really keeps me motivated.

Monday Hall, staris, landing, Bathrooms and loos

    Level One
[STRIKE]Hoover and Mop all these areas[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Clean sink and toilet, including the pedestal front and all the yunk behind[/STRIKE]
    Level Two
    [STRIKE]Clean bath, shower
Empty the bins[/STRIKE] and I washed the bin (big deal for me)
    Level Three
    [STRIKE]Clean mirrors, shower screens, windows[/STRIKE]
Wipe any marks from the walls/tiles
[STRIKE]Put away anything on the stairs or landing[/STRIKE]
    Extras
HHI (just cannot get into ironing in any way, shape or form)
[STRIKE]Sort the bathroom cabinet - today is a special day so use some of your 'special' creams, lipsticks, bubble bath etc[/STRIKE]
If you have a cupboard in this area or under the stairs then give it a good sort out
[STRIKE]Wipe the lightshades if it is safe to do so[/STRIKE]
Check your smoke alarms, hoover if necessary and safe

I've also done so much cooking I'm almost out of space in the freezer. I hope this means I'll do some proper decluttering tomorrow.

Any one know a good way or getting rid of marks ion walls without the paint coming off/redecorating. Thinking of getting a new settee and kow there will be marks where the old settee is. trying to think of options before I have to decorate the living room.

    thanks in advance.

You can get some great magic erasers things, often in pound type shops, mine are by Doktor Power I'm sure you could get them cheaper somewhere, this is a large block which would cut into about 5 pieces.

HHE swam 22lengths this morning on the way to work

This evening I have emptied the TD, hoovered downstairs, cooked tea, eaten, washed up, mopped the kitchen(my biggest frog) and put away the laundry, now I am about to play a board game with OH (Carcasonne for anyone who is interested) and then I'm off for a bath and an early ish night!

Got to podiatrist in the morning so I can have a bit of a lie in and then I'm going in to work afterwards.

Hope you have all had. Good day!

I'm in again this week. I'm working Monday and Tuesday, so may be able to do more after then. I retire from work on 17 January (after 35 years in the NHS, and the last 27 years on the same unit!) so I can become a proper flylady then!

But I got so enthused by the list that I cleaned the loos and sinks, in both upstairs bathroom and downstairs cloakroom, before going to work. A first - as I can't ever remember cleaning the loo before 8am on a Monday morning.

Got home to find daughter in the bath. So she will be cleaning it out. I'm off to do the hoovering/mopping in a minute.

bonnie I'm sorry to hear that the job didn't workout. Will you be able to go back on JSA?

I've managed to flutter a little before and after work, nothing major - milk in; rubbish and recycling out; a little paperwork; repeat prescription ordered; phone topped up; timesheets mailed; guarantor form signed and mailed; tea cooked and eaten.

think I'll go into town in my lunch break tomorrow as I need to pay in a cheque at the bank; while I'm there I'll pay the water rates and nip into Boots to stock up as AF arrived on 26th Dec and is still here!!!:o:( _pale_

An early night for me tonight. Sweet dreams xx

    hello all
been to do the work thing (I miss AnW'sMum and some of her phrases)
and had to go to Sainsbury's for milk for work - and some xmas cards bought for 25p a box (The hello Kitty ones will do for little girls;)) and got two tubs of cheddars reduced to 30p (DD's party sleepover snack) and seville oranges reduced...
They had some MASSIVE reductions clearing xmas stock...

One day back and I'm bushed

Read Sherlock Holmes on the kindle while I waited outside Jui Jitsu

Loo S&s'd; pots washed, dried, put away, all ironed & aired laundlry put away and the whole cycle starts again...
