I agree with FK. I was informed today by CS that I was due a full refund as the item was faulty. Seems like the power went to the SA's head in this case, definitely just someone annoyed at a customer for being overcharged for a product and expecting T's to live up to their OWN policy!!!! :eek: :mad:Very unfair treatment and misinformation too! If she has any problems with the item, I'd recommend she calls CS

With regards to the refund, as celebrate said, I would call CS and ask for clarification. When I tried to return something yesterday I was told I could only have an exchange but as they didn't sell the product I couldn't do anything. Then today I called CS and was told that if they stock the product, they will be able to give me a refund but he strongly recommended going back to the original store. It seems you often get a different response depending on who you speak to but CS should provide the most definitive answer for your situation

Thanks for your help, I'll tell her to ring CS and see what they say. As far as I'm aware the only thing wrong with it is she got the wrong thing but only realised when giving it to her SIL.
She joked that it would have been better if it was faulty because then she could get the correct item.
