......the promotional Weetabix 36 packs have finally appeared in our local at the end of the first aisle you come to as you walk in, they say £2 (which is good as the 24s are £1.98!) but they scan through at the previously reported £1.49! Loads there but that won't last!

Oh 1p chocs! remember the 1p haloween ones just before Christmas, went down a treat at the Christmas fair in a Christmassy bag!! lol
May I ask if people are finding them in the seasonal isle with the last of the crimble reductions, or hidden with all the ripped packages and dinted tins?..Theres still a sealed box of 'Little miss scary' haloween packs of sweets on the top shelf at my extra!! Bet they are out of date now, and probably gone off 1p to 'item not recognised' after all this time! Cant grumble though, as we did get a nice amount of caramel heads and Shrek jellies and choc lollies at the time!
Can't say that they won't go through as not recognised but the Little Miss Scary sweets have a best before date of 31/08/2012.... (or atleast mine do!:D) Maybe worth a scan if you can reach .... or get a little child to fetch it down :rotfl:
Sorry if it's already been mentioned as I haven't had time to catch up.
I was in F0rmby today and found a 1p Toy Story 'lucky bag' on a clip strip . It was in the shape of a boot and has 'sweets games and surprises' on the front. B/C ending 043915 the BBD was 31/07/2013 :j
Ahhh I so nearly scanned these! The manager at my local was in the scanner aisle stacking shelves and I was running back and forth scanning all the xmas chocs. I thought these might be 1p as they're shaped like a stocking....they also have them in a Disney Princess design (which nahteb20 has reported are also 1p) loadsssss in my local!:T Thank you very much sidemoore
River in the garden, loads of space, one loo in the bathroom(Years ago my mum & dad only had an outside loo in the garden;)) perfect for kids:) And you loved it before;)
Something happened to me today that has really made me think. I met a good friend this morning who told me that her husband had on Friday been diagnosed with cancer. They are the same age as me and my OH. Tomorrow they go to find out about treatment etc. She lives in an enormous house, has everything, is super minted and is a lovely person. It's knocked me sideways and sort of made me think life is too short, do what makes you happy when you can and money and space are'nt everything, being happy is:)This is from me who used to be Mrs materialistic till a few years ago. Hope that makes sense, it sounds like deep down you want to go for it, so do it;)
I couldn't agree more with the sentiments in this NikkiLife is for living...I'd rather regret the things I've done, knowing that I gave 100% than regret the things I wish I had the guts to try. Now if only I could start living by that mantra :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::p:o
Wool your previous home sounds beautiful and also based on your figures that it would bring a lot more financial flexibilty and comfort. On the other hand the house that you're living in currently sounds mahooooosive!!!! I would love a dressing room!:rotfl:But in all seriousness I agree with Nikki, the fact that you've sat down and pondered the idea suggests that you're not happy where you are so go for it :A

quick question re DTD electricals, brothers gf got one a few weeks ago but the SA at CS wrote on the top of the reciept
"If faulty no refund to be given as got DTD for overcharge"
She was told that under no circumstances would she get an exchange or refund if she changed her mind, they said when she asked that she would get an exchange if they were faulty but even then it took them 30 mins to find this out after asking everyone, even the security guard!!
They scored through the proof of purchase part at the bottom of the reciept, is this not needed if she needs to return it because it's faulty?
What I want to find out is this correct or just someone anoyed that she got a DTD
Thanks in advance for the helpSPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Just been on a wasted visit to Mr T's, I was there at 10.50pm and they close at 12am yet nearly all the aisles were blocked with trollies for re-stocking, surely they should wait till they close.
Spotted some 1p chocolate that will have to wait till the morning as I didn't want to risk getting trouted.
Also spotted a couple of possible nice dtd's on phones, better than half price offer finished 22/1/12 ( unfortunately no money to try it)0 -
