Tesco Discussion Chats & Grabbits 11+

New overflow thread from 11+
THE FOLLOWING IS COPIED FROM ORIGINAL FIRST POST ON PREVIOUS THREAD
This is yet another Tesco bargain/glitch/DTD/misprice thread
we know it's in the 'Gone but not forgotten' section we know there are at least 2 other threads in which we could post.
Yes, we do talk a lot
No, not all of what we say is Tesco related or even of interest to many others but this is the way this thread has formed
Many of us want to discuss the various deals to be had but this was not appreciated on the main Grabbit forum. As such, we now use this thread to talk about anything from how to cook a baked potato to how to get 1p or 4p items through self-scan as quick as possible. We also discuss ex-husbands, kids and animals. If you have a medical problem we'll nag you until you go to the doctor. If you're not feeling well we'll provide support, a wee hot drink and whatever chocolate is currently glitching to cheer you up.
And finally, yes we know that some people try to obscure the store names but this works both ways. It might make it difficult for those who don't have the time to sit here and natter all day but it also makes it difficult for staff/managers to quickly identify any issues at their store. We do try to post new deals in bold but it depends on the poster if they remember. We don't like arguing so we're not going to take umbridge if one or two deals slip through.
Now sit back, relax and feel free to join in. We don't bite (unless you ask nicely), we will help wherever possible and you don't have to post new deals just to feel like part of the group.
Please put all your finds in bold with LAST 4 DIGITS OF barcode or photo if possible so we can chat & still speed read for bargains

Sorry if it's already been mentioned, but I've found lots of children's Christmas craft stuff in my local Extra - stickers and mini card kits. They were all in the normal stationery aisle.
Gold Christmas stickers: SEL- 56p, Scan - 19p
Christmas Stampers & Ink: SEL - £1.12, Scan - 38p
Bumper Christmas stickers sheet: SEL - 75p, Scan - 19p
Mini Card Kit (Makes 12): SEL - £1.12, Scan - 38p
HTH
Also, I'd like to have a go at receipt wombling but just wonder whether I can still submit them for price check for JTD if someone has used their clubcard, or whether the receipt has to be one with no clubcard details please? And also, would it matter if someone had used a credit/debit card to pay?
Unlikely that I'll find any stray receipts, there never seems to be any left in trolleys etc around where I live...
TIA xx0 -
lol, just catching up from last night/today and then find we have a nice new thread to:j0

Never, ever, ever, ever again will I whoopsie that T's on a Sunday. I am going to write the strongest possible email tonight. They brought the whoopsies out in a normal customer trolley, one of the deep ones. Eleven + people trying to get into it, I've now got a nice scratched hand. The SA was laughing as he pushed it out and literally pushed it into the middle of everyone then proceeded to hold up his mobile phone laughing and take a picture of the chaos!!!!!I put one hand in,got it scratched and walked off. I'm not that desperate and the S**T will hit the fan when I complain tonight. So I will guess that his pictures are for youtube or somewhere. Off now to finish the dinner but I'm fuming:mad::mad::mad::mad:Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0

Interesting article about 1p items in the Daily Mail. Handy to print off and wave under a trouts nose if you're being trouted.
