Ahh know it well, I normally have a good walk (pub crawl !!) on a Sunday via Golfcorse - Coalbrookdale - Ironbridge

Just glad I only have to walk DOWN this slope as going up is a bit much after a few beers !!!!

    incline.jpg

BTW did you sus out your receipt?
And there is a scanner in the local T's ;-)

Ah, the incline, i went up that last at 8 months pregnant! Its harder than it looks! I worked in the restaurant on site for avfew years then worked at the golf course, great hay?

The home plus had scanners last i was there but none of the bigger stores. M4deley had only been complete a few days before we moved so dont know if hats he one you are referring to?

Ref home plus closing. Dont think it will be a while. When pc world closed down and moved across he park, dsg paid rent for over a year on empty unit, no one wanted it rent is sky high - i know cause inworked at currys next door!

Gosh i sound like ive worked everywhere!

Re my receipt, it was the weight watchers meals coming up as desserts on 3 for 2 so i never uncovered an amazing glitch!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Lovely effect! Are you going to check to see if the northern lights are visible for you this evening? Apparently lots saw them last night, and should be visible from Eastern Scotland, this evening :)

Some pics of last nights lights on this BBC site:

DH has been out the past couple of nights but not seen anything. An amazing sight though if you do get to see them!
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist
  • OK, that's me for the night, happy glitching/bargain hunting tomorrow everyone :-)

Some people might have seen me mention I got a JTD voucher of £1.25 from a wombled receipt for Dur3x. Today I summonded up my courage to use it, went through the SS till at shop number 1.
Youngish male SA comes over, studies receipt for about a minute ..... then removes it from JTD, smiles and hands it back to me saying 'Here you go, just in case you need it for a return'

OMG I wanted to die :o:o:o:o

Shop number 2 as I am at the SS till and I notice a whole bin of receipts. But I cant do much because there is a trout about. So I pay and wander of to the loo to think up a plan.
Come back and launch myself at the bin, to the total confusion of blokey now ringing up his shopping. Tell him I think I dropped something, and emerge from the bin with a handful of receipts and scarper off.

The sport of wombling, has turned me into someone who should be locked up. :D
