    Re Happy Chappy situation...

Seems strange that we, as members, have to follow rules on the forum eg. no swearing in posts, yet the moderators do not follow the rules and can ban people straight off without first suspending them. Why??
Happy Chappy was very much a treasured member of this thread and is sorely missed by many of us...PLEASE REINSTATE HIM.

RIP oor wee Tammy. She went is now at peace. OH and myself cried our eyes out, we are never going through that again. we took her her usual wee walk this morning, i cooked her mince which she ate, cuddled her constantly, i think she knew, the lady vet said it was the only thing we could do she said she thinks Tammy has cushions syndrome and diabetes as well as major organ failure, she reasured us that Tammy agitation and constant hunger as well as everything else was making her an unhappy wee dog and it was best to go ahead and do what we were doing. When she passed she looks so content and settled hubby and I both said we hadn't seen her so at peace for years. Thank you all for your words of comfort and kindness. my daughter stayed up all night cuddling Tammy on the couch she is 17 and can't remember life before we had Tammy. I noticed this morning she has a picture of Tammy on her bedside cabanet facing her bed. xxxxxxxxx

hugs to you and your family blondenurse you are so brave to make the right decision

An easy sweet to make is to melt a bar of choco;ate, put a teaspoonful in a small paper case or even on greaseproof paper, top with a marshmallow, another dollop of choc then top with a Smartie. Hey presto .... one top hat.

    HTH:)

We make these for their parties lol but they don't like marshmallows so only eat the smartie and the choc lol - they then hand me the sticky marshmallow :o - they once ate all the tophats at my nephew party b4 it had begun - and placed all the marshmallow back on the plate - my sis was not impressed:eek:

i agree that Happy should be reinstated surely the mods can see how much he is loved and respected on here if he has apologised could it not be a suspension with one more chance he was always the first to apologise for offending people and would remove things himself and i have seen other users blanking out swear words who have not been banned..

    Hi

I think all the points have been covered on that already. We did offer the opportunity to come back but they said no in no uncertain terms.

    Hello Andrea

Thanks for responding. I do appreciate that a large forum like this has to have rules, and that there are good reasons for these. Also I appreciate that in the heat of the moment you did receive a quite rude email.

We are just asking for the forum team to be extra kind and helpful, and really consider Happy's medical condition.

The easy thing to do would be to keep saying no, but the compassionate thing to do would be to let him come back.

There are enough posts on here with little snappy comments. Happys were never like that, and he brought a smile to a lot of peoples faces.

    Thank you for reading this.

no glitches to report...but did manage to get out earlier last night and found that they seem to whoopsie abbout 6.30 in my nearest local...i normally dont get there til about 7.30 and sometimes theres not much left...even last night there wasnt much left but got a couple of lemon & peppered cod fillets for 70p and pork chops for 90p (not as good as some peoples but good for me!).

also saw upstars in the 'entertainment' section that Pringles were RTC at 49p (didnt check the best before date but there were loads) in salt & vinegar and sour cream.....but in my other local these were priced at £1.49 each of 2 for £2
