I have let the side down today. A friend should have been coming over for coffee at 3. Even made twinks hobnobs. I (ahem) rushed em though and didn't space em out much. They turned out of the oven like a big flapjack on both trays:rotfl:
... They were rescued easily enough though. Whilst still hot, I used a cup to cut out perfect discs!!!! (Top tip if they go wrong)

As I was expecting someone I made sure tea is all ready to go as soon as they leave. Hence, I have cheated and tea tonight is a balti made with a sauce (pataks!!) added to veg and whoopsied meat.
My other half is working. The curry crown is not mine in this house (although I make a mean biriani and the nicest naans you've ever tasted!) :(

    Smells nice though :)

    Anyone for a hobnob?
Looks like my coffee pal ain't coming!

(passes round the best portmeirion mounted with biccies...)

Aww don't worry about your coffee pal not turning up. I will eat the biscuits after my curry tonight. I'll be around about 6. Not too heavy on the chips!
