Don't you want to put the (purple) leg work in FK.
Only one store around my way has them and they were only put in recently. It's a less busier store on a retail park.0 -

LOL no purple legs from me today! I know over time we all compiled a list of where the scanners were in Tesco, I was just wondering if such a document existed for Boots self scan locations too. I've never found a Boots with one!0 -
I'm thinking I might get some of the vitamins for kids but DS1 is only 2 1/2. Not sure if he'll even like them. Anyone any experience of a 3 year old successfully taking supplements or is it like trying to give a cat a worming tablet :rotfl:
Hi Caz, I got 3yo DS some of the chewy vitamins thinking he might take them if he thinks they are sweets - he sucks them for a couple of minutes until 'the juice is gone' then hands me the sticky messs that is left......ah well, it was worth a try :rotfl:0 -

Ive got the dropper formula, I put 4 drops on my tongue and it does take the edge off it... They sell it in Boots, its quite expensive but it sure is worth it, and lasts a long time.. might be worth you trying it..
Thanks think I'll try that out, they had atleast 15 shots left so I should be able to get it cheaper if I can summon the courage & find a gulliable SA!!lol0 -

Brilliant idea. Maybe you should start one. Was only couple of weeks ago that I finally found a row off SS ones. All the cashier tills had been taken away except the No7 counter one and the pharmacy one at the back of the store.
Hope you didn't mind me pulling your leg.0 -
Well I had my ECG today so just gotta wait now till all the results find their way to the doctors. The nurse who took it said it needed to be assesed by the specialist and a report done, but she looked at it and said it looked perfectly normal for a man of my age. Sounded ok to me.
Anyway I'd done the UK Biobank thing in march 2010 and had a hunch I'd done a lung function test so dug out the paperwork.
FEV1 value 4.06 litres
FVC value 6.04 litres
FEV1/FVC ratio 67%
To my untrained eye and a quick google, that doesn't look brilliant. Far from bad, but does seem to suggest all my years of smoking heavily did leave some residual damage.
Will have to see what the doc says now. **FK trembles nervously**0 -

I think you have to go through an ss till and none in ours.
Thanks for that. Usually pick up some goodies for valentines. He is obsessed with smelling good.
I don't do giftcards cos you have to give 20 quid then. I bought clothes from the matalan clearance buy one get one free, plus 20p superdrugs stuff. spent about 1.50ish on each gift.
Maybe morries will have some whoopsies, M&S whoopsies are about 6ish I think.
By the way,i have no idea where is t...h0 -
I know it's a boots thing not Mr T, but just wanted to let people know that if they have bought any of the Joules gift sets for presents throughout the year, they have a £10 money off voucher in them that expires in March 2012 so you may want to take it out so you don't look like a skin flint who buys xmas presents in the new year sales :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:- I've already removed mine
Also friendly SA in Glasgow Fort (who helped me back to my car with the shopping as I was in danger of squishing DS in the buggy under the weight - you don't get service like that in Mr T's....) said he wasn't sure but that they may be getting another delivery in tonight HTH0 -
8 out of 10 for me today!!:(
However I would like to dispute the answer to this!!
9. You're at a stop light and you notice the person in the car next to you - ahem - picking their nose. This is an exercise that you have always personally found appalling. Private gripes aside, what is the best way to proceed?
Your Answer: Roll down your window and holler "Hey! Hey! Stop that!".
The correct answer was Ignore him or her and just hit the gas when the light turns green..
