Kadison - good luck with the tablets OH also had CBT to help with his demons - he's still not 100% but he's getting there

Thank you, I am having counselling as well as I would ideally like to come off them eventually but we shall see, if I need them for life then I need them for life, but I want to see what I can do about it :) I'm glad your OH is finding the therapy useful x

please take care when you start your new tablets. when they changed mine (a long time ago) the tablets disagreed with me and i ended up beachy head (a well known suicide spot)
the tablets take about 3 weeks to kick in.

I can vouch for this.... I was driving into a bridge quite happily, I was going to fly away over the bridge until I actually came to it, thankfully I swerved and got myself out of the pickle. It hadnt dawned on me until about 5 minutes later what had happened... I called with my OH (who worked about 5 minutes away, I was in such a state he drove me home and phoned the doctor, this was when he told me that they didnt agree with me and for my OH to go down and collect another sort of anti-depressants. I was on them for 9 months and kept nagging my doctor that I wanted to come off them, in the end he gave in.. 10 months later I was back on them.. and I stayed on them for 8 years.
I really hope they work for you. I understand exactly how you feel. I struggled (& still do to an extent) with depression & anxiety. I always found the anxiety the crippling part even when the depressin lifts it lingers. I never did find a med that worked & rightly or wrongly stopped taking them of my own accord eventually. Ive found the only way to break down the anxiety is to push myself beyond all the screaming voices in my head telling me I cant do or dont want to do something. When Ive done this its made me feel more empowered. I'm far from back to how I used to be but a million times better than I have been. All you peeps on here help greatly aswell. I am totally phonephobic, but have had to make 3 important phone calls today & I feel so good for pushing myself to do it. I would normally just let DH deal with things, but this year is my year & Im more positive that Im going to beat it than ever.

I came off mine year last August, but I like you feel this anxiety sometimes, after discussing this with a friend she advised me to try the "Rescue remedy" the makers are "Bach".. Ive got the dropper formula, I put 4 drops on my tongue and it does take the edge off it... They sell it in Boots, its quite expensive but it sure is worth it, and lasts a long time.. might be worth you trying it..

The reason i wasnt in queue this morning, well there's 2 reasons- at 9 am i am the school gate and then....last year i bought load in 75 per cent sale and then during a year i struggled to give presents away,u know what i mean, they are just toiletries, not enough for the only present so i always topped up a present and ended up spending lot anyway. This year i decided,i would rather give my friends a giftcard from the shop they love, rather then giving just toiletries. My resolution for a year is -only buy what u can really use.

Anyway,no shots in boots, save yourself a journey. And i have tried m&s supposed glitch but it didnt work for me,unless i dont get it
i might do that. i may start on feb the 1st though

I think you have to go through an ss till and none in ours.

Thanks for that. Usually pick up some goodies for valentines. He is obsessed with smelling good.

I don't do giftcards cos you have to give 20 quid then. I bought clothes from the matalan clearance buy one get one free, plus 20p superdrugs stuff. spent about 1.50ish on each gift.

Maybe morries will have some whoopsies, M&S whoopsies are about 6ish I think.

It's not the money or cards, it's just the fact she had lost the jewellery that has really upset me because I know how upset she will be.
I know people think maybe you shouldn't take nice jewellery on holiday, but my mum doesn't go out a lot a home, so holidays are the chance she gets to wear nice things. There doesn't seem any point in having them and not being able to enjoy wearing them.

Just tried to distract myself by making the Mary Berry cupcakes, before I start the diet on tuesday.

Just had a text from my parents who are on holiday in Tenerife. They have had all their cash, my mums cards and mums jewellery stolen from the hotel room (and it was locked inside a case)
The jewellery is the worst thing, they took her engagement ring and other sentimental items. :(

I'm so upset and angry that people could do that. I've travelled all round the world and never had anything stolen, even in notorious places like Brazil, and this happends in tenerife.

    That is awful
