I think the cat was well and truely out of the bag when taking a leak was mentioned....I mean, what lady would say that :rotfl:

And the penchant for late night kebabs might be a bit of a clue too :rotfl:

I don't know this lady is rather partial to late night kebabs after a night out. :rotfl:

But she definitely does not take leaks.

    Right I am going now.

but I like you feel this anxiety sometimes, after discussing this with a friend she advised me to try the "Rescue remedy" the makers are "Bach".. Ive got the dropper formula, I put 4 drops on my tongue and it does take the edge off it... They sell it in Boots, its quite expensive but it sure is worth it, and lasts a long time.. might be worth you trying it..

♥ Totally totally agree. My Rescue Remedy is an invaluable crutch when I get pickle stressy :T

Just got sent this as an e mail, thought it may make some of you laugh :rotfl::rotfl:

It's taken me many months to settle into retirement and we have had a lot work done to the house. The good news is that the builders have nearly finished building my new Medicine Cabinet in the kitchen.
    Here, take a look...

This may be a really stupid question but hey I'll ask anyway!

I just wondered if anyone had returned a DTD item with a non-golden receipt and what CS said when they did. I'm sure that ethically it's not right to expect a refund but legally I would guess you are probably entitled to one but I really don't know! The item isn't faulty and cost 1p after DTD...hair straighteners, not bad!:D

I'm only talking about receipts that clearly showed the DTD had been given, otherwise what they don't know etc...;)

Forgive my stupid question and I will wait now for my punishment lol!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but I am interested to hear your views/experience as my view is that it would most definitely be a no-no but I could be wrong....

    TIA!!

It is ok to return a DTD item that has been clearly marked on the receipt. I have done it when I got a couple of Barbie Dolls marked up at £12.50 but charged £25 (sure lots of mse'rs know the ones!). I returned one & got a refund no probs :D

Hi Caz, I got 3yo DS some of the chewy vitamins thinking he might take them if he thinks they are sweets - he sucks them for a couple of minutes until 'the juice is gone' then hands me the sticky messs that is left......ah well, it was worth a try :rotfl:

I'm looking forward to it :rotfl: Thanks to Spiralingdown and you-snooze-you-lose I got some today to put away for DS

ETA I see HC has been wiped off the system completely :(

I tried finding someone before but didn't know that method. I knew that the user had posted in a certain area of the forums so searched for the name by using the Search options in the green bar (search this thread or search this forum) but these seem to be case sensitive so thank you for the tip :T

Not a T's but Asda extra special All-butter sun dried tomato & cheese crumbles. Lots on a display stand at end of an aisle found in store today 2p. They're small crunchy bites opened a pack & they're yummy! SEL was 2p. :)

DTD is only a Ts policy - their way of 'making up' for the fact that they have overcharged you..a goodwill gesture if you like....it DOES NOT affect your statutory rights.

Therefore, on the back of your reciept it says if you change your mind you can return the item within 28 days (unused/in same packaging etc etc)....so you can do this, technically without having to give any reason, other than you've changed your mind.

H/O will advise you of the same thing if you have any problems in store....they will also state that your refund will be the amount that the item scans at ...so if it scans at the higher price now, then thats what you'll get...if it scans lower than the amount it originally shouldve been (ie because its now in the sale), then you will still get back the amount you paid as per your reciept.

I've taken items back that I've actually been paid to take ot of the store - once because the item was faulty and once because the item was a gift for my mum (phone) and she'd already been and bought the same one. Both times I had no problems and despite various things scribbled across the reciept, I got the full amount back as a refund both times.

If you feel uncomfortable using the receipt, then just take the item back and say it was an unwanted present - they should give you a giftcard for the value instead.

    hth :)
hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!
