Yesterday I wombled 5 receipts - total result 2p. 2p!!!! I feel that it is my duty out of spite to print and claim it anyway!

I also wombled a till spit of £9 off a £60 spend...what!! How much would you have to be spending regularly to get that?

I still have it and I won't be using it btw...;)

It's only valid until the 22nd though, not that it's at all relevant. lol
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Sorry, I was just looking for a good intro so I could go...

"I'm in the FIFTEEN club too now!!!"

Managed it at a B0*ts I've never been to before, spotted at least 30 of the shots and got a bit obsessive, it worked out as...

    4 x Ricolas @ 1.45, 6 vitamins @ 99p, 5 vitamins @ 79p

SA was lovely, I'd picked up a £3.05 pill organiser thing to make up some of the negative balance and she worked out it was screwing up the 3 for 2s as the last of the vitamins hadn't come off, so asked her to void that and I'd get it seperately.

Working it out right (I THINK!), even though I went through it all with her several times to make sure it was all correct, it appears from the receipt she only scanned 12 not 15 shots, as I only have 2 5 for 4s :( Oh well, it seems all that gave me a negative balance of -11.94 which plus the vitamins I bought (taking into account the 3 for 2), gave me a total of £1.26 towards my other shopping

However I did save another £3.06 on my shopping somewhere (£1.80 being the 45p reduction on the Ricolas), can't work out the rest.

Not massively worth it for the negative balance then :( but hey ho, a glitch is a glitch and I have a tonne of free vitamins and shots!

EDIT: I also got a good deal on the pill organisers (got three in the end), paid seperately, £3.05 each plus the 3 for 2 and the 3 free shots = 4.11 for three/1.37 each!

Well done you  For your next task, try 18! That's my highest so far but that was on what was meant to be the last day so it was all or nothing. That receipt was 33" long if memory serves.

And from your figures, you're right, the discount tallies up to only be for 12. Your discount was £11.94. If she'd scanned 15 you would have had an extra 3for2 and an extra 5for4 so 2 more shots free equalling £15.92 which is the magic number.

Edit: does anyone know why Boots have to scan each item individually? Do they not have a quantity button or is there another reason?

Cant believe how many of you get annoyed when OH hangs washing out, I'd be speechless if my DH even knew where the pegs were kept:rotfl::rotfl:
I fight OCD urges when hanging washing.

All socks have to be in pairs with heels in the same direction. They go from youngest member of family to oldest member of family.
Undies are pegged by the hip, gusset in same direction as the sock heel from smallest to largest, t shirts same pattern from s to l, etc etc. tea towels grouped together next to matching tea towels, if using coloured pegs, they have to be 2 of the same on each article.

You get the idea. I had to fight the urge to rehang the washing when OH 'helped'.
I hated to see neighbours hap hazard washing so pretended it wasn't there. I'm better now but it actually used to make me a wee bit anxious!:rotfl:

I used to refer to myself as a shopportunist. Taking advantage of opportunities in the form of shopping. Bulk buying where possible when most advantageous to do so. Spavving works but it needs explanation.

    Sounds good though.

Right. I NEED to go beddy babas.

The SA today inputted quantities for mine, which gave me a minor panic attack as she'd only scanned £4 of other goods before she insisted on inputting all 15 shots!!!:eek::eek:Thank goodness she was interested in whatever I was waffling on about!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You have made me feel so much better now I know I am not the only one. It breaks my heart to wash an odd sock let alone hang one out on the washing line.:o

Just a quick update from Ts. Big Khuna wine is scanning £5.99 at my store, got all excited when saw an * on the SEL too. :(

Also the Time for Tea china cake stands are scanning £11 instore, so Ts Direct £3.33 is an amazing bargain.

And one of my extras had some more veg crisps and for the first time lucozade shots. I have plenty so still some there. ;)

    Night all.
