Most expensive item was 50p (30 HB Pencils)
    Fews things @ 2p
Average price was around the 15p mark.

I was a little bit jealous (happy for those that found) when peeps were posting cheap stationary a while back but i couldnt find any. I'm happy with my stash, should hopefully last me a while.

My closing post of the night/morning :p:D ..... given my sweet tooth it will come as no surprise that my guilty pleasure sandwich is sweeeeeeeeeeeettttt!! :D White bread, strawberry jam, vanilla ice cream (preferably walls cream of cornish ;)) and cornflakes!!!!! :T Sort of a mega sweet version of a crisp sandwich!

Ironic that HC was at the dentist today! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hello HC! :D Hope you're keeping well.

And needless to say I take sugar in my tea......didn't find one lonely splenda and I'd be hopeless cold turkey so I'll stick with being a sugar fiend

Loved everyone's pictures, I love photography too :)

    Night night all :A

Just seen on the news that Past Times and Peacocks have both gone into administration today. Bit grim on the highstreet isn't it....just like last January...I wonder how many more will go under in the next couple of weeks. :(

Oh no not Past Times! :( Though tbh I have always thought their stuff expensive even at half price so maybe it's not all that surprising, but still disappointing....

Kadison - the bathroom here is laid out the same way in that I have to reach beside the cistern for the necessary. That's why I like the loo roll hanging from over the top as it means not stretching so far back. I did ask the ex when he was re-doing the bathroom could he not put the bath in along the long wall the way everybody else does but no. He insisted on keeping it across the window wall so you have to lean across the bath to open the window and hope you don't get pulled out with it as there's no friction so it flies open. Oh and the mildew/mould that can build up over the winter is disgusting as there's no ventilation and loads of water from the shower.

My bath is along the long wall but I still have no place to put a loo roll holder, once I've cleaned the bathroom (once a year job  :rotfl:) I'll post a pic!

I've not got a whirly line...mine is a long one running the length of the garden.
I have to hang socks in pairs, then undies, t shirts, tops, bottoms, bedding then towels in that order!
If my OH does it all higgledy piggledy I can't stand it!
Yet I'm not at all OCD in any other thing....you should see my cupboards!!

I don't mind about order, except that my bras don't hang in view of my nosey neighbours, but I feel irritated if it's a nice drying day and I haven't got enough laundry to fill the whirly gigg thing, I have been known to re-wash the odd towel/sheet just so I can fill the line, not very :money: is it? :rotfl:

Well done you  For your next task, try 18! That's my highest so far but that was on what was meant to be the last day so it was all or nothing. That receipt was 33" long if memory serves.

And from your figures, you're right, the discount tallies up to only be for 12. Your discount was £11.94. If she'd scanned 15 you would have had an extra 3for2 and an extra 5for4 so 2 more shots free equalling £15.92 which is the magic number.

Edit: does anyone know why Boots have to scan each item individually? Do they not have a quantity button or is there another reason?

Well I guess I can live with it, it's only a few quid ()

Hanging out washing - I am definitely OCD on this one - MUST use same colours on each item but CANNOT use same colour peg as the item is, which is a problem on multi-coloured items. I have been known to stand there several minutes deciding which colour to use so as not to match the colour of the peg to the item :o I even consider the age of the peg when doing this, as older pegs are paler in colour :o Socks hung in pairs from the toe, with heels all pointing in same direction, knickers/pants must be facing toward me as I hang them out, and by the top

Our laundry related behaviour is all very revealing :rotfl:
