Have to re peg all the washing if Fourp pegs it out with 'economy pegging' :p Uses 6 pegs for 14 items  :rotfl: Why? when we have 100's of pegs?
Trousers have to pegged from the hems so the thicker waist top bit will wave around in the breeze & dry quicker :T :D

Economy pegging ...because if and when it rains it's easier to remove the clothes from the line without fumbling around taking pegs off that were put on by an over zealous pegger .

Both ideas have merit.. :rotfl::rotfl: at both of these, no fighting in the ranks!

Hey, can I just ask - after rushing back from a day's shopping, posting on here then rushing out to SW class - has anyone done the 15 vits/15 shots yet? :D

locarr and Caz have done it successfully I believe - respect to both!!!

Yup. I did 18 a few days before I realised that 15 was the best combination. There's lots of calculations on the other thread but anything you want to know just ask. I have *ahem* a few receipts I can refer back to :p

Sorry, I was just looking for a good intro so I could go...

"I'm in the FIFTEEN club too now!!!"

Managed it at a B0*ts I've never been to before, spotted at least 30 of the shots and got a bit obsessive, it worked out as...

    4 x Ricolas @ 1.45, 6 vitamins @ 99p, 5 vitamins @ 79p

SA was lovely, I'd picked up a £3.05 pill organiser thing to make up some of the negative balance and she worked out it was screwing up the 3 for 2s as the last of the vitamins hadn't come off, so asked her to void that and I'd get it seperately.

Working it out right (I THINK!), even though I went through it all with her several times to make sure it was all correct, it appears from the receipt she only scanned 12 not 15 shots, as I only have 2 5 for 4s :( Oh well, it seems all that gave me a negative balance of -11.94 which plus the vitamins I bought (taking into account the 3 for 2), gave me a total of £1.26 towards my other shopping

However I did save another £3.06 on my shopping somewhere (£1.80 being the 45p reduction on the Ricolas), can't work out the rest.

Not massively worth it for the negative balance then :( but hey ho, a glitch is a glitch and I have a tonne of free vitamins and shots!

EDIT: I also got a good deal on the pill organisers (got three in the end), paid seperately, £3.05 each plus the 3 for 2 and the 3 free shots = 4.11 for three/1.37 each!

No, it didn't come off. They were all the exact same 'Finest Linconshire pork chipolatas', reduced to 81p, but on the receipt 2 are shown as 'finest sausage' (1.99)and 2 are shown as 'pork chipolata' (81p) I think the reduction monkey has mixed up his labels.

No sorry didn't use the 30p coupon off the green tea. I knew it was in there, but The startled cashier might have bolted.

I only went in for a new kettle and some milk and got hypnotised by the reductions and couldn't think straight.

lol! Thats my trick, I went for mushrooms tonight & spent £25:eek: Mostly whoopsied but I could survive a month without buying anything so why I feel the need to buy 3 days worth of food every day is beyond me! I think I need an MSE Therepy thread!!:rotfl::rotfl:

My first ever job after leaving school was working for the Co-op in the accounts office.
The Store detective was a real nasty peice of work and was disliked by virtually everyone.
One day she was caught with kitchen knives hidden up her sleeves and she tried to pretend she'd done it on purpose to see if the shopfloor staff were being vigilant!
Needless to say, we never saw her again after that!!
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

Hiya Debs some A's stores are absolutely fantastic with whoopsies. My local closes at 8pm or 9pm each night and at about 7:30pm all the whoopsies go down to 10p :T:j But unfortunately it all depends on the store and often how generous they're feeling that day/how much is left that they don't want to waste! Good luck, I hope you strike it lucky with the store you're near :)

Also on the subject of A's, how many peeps went off to find 2p xmas goodies today?? Did many have success? I was gutted that all 4 stores had removed every scrap of xmas munchies!

I used to go to a 24 hour one and they always used to start with the fruit and veg around 7ish followed by the bakery, then the meat and chilled.
It used to go right down, but there was never the quantity there sometimes is at T's.
I went to an ordinary small A's last Friday at 8pm and it had all gone bar a couple of parsley sauces which had been reduced to 20p

Thanks to both of you for the Mr A info - I will report back later in the week!

    How's baby doing Sanya?

She is doing great thanks. Sound asleep in my arms just now :) Just had her last feed before I go off to bed and probably won't be up again till about 4am. I am counting myself lucky as DS was the same and was no bother during the night as a baby but everyone said that second babies are always different so would probably be a nightmare but so far so good :D

I have always been a bit OCD over laundry, I have to have all the pegs in correct colour sets (all the red ones, then all the blue etc), it really bothers me if it's not right - and I HAVE to use an even number!
    QUOTE]

I've not got a whirly line...mine is a long one running the length of the garden.
I have to hang socks in pairs, then undies, t shirts, tops, bottoms, bedding then towels in that order!
If my OH does it all higgledy piggledy I can't stand it!
Yet I'm not at all OCD in any other thing....you should see my cupboards!!
Cant believe how many of you get annoyed when OH hangs washing out, I'd be speechless if my DH even knew where the pegs were kept:rotfl::rotfl:

Make that where the washing machine is situated... :rotfl:
    Hope is not a strategy.
