    I recycle EVERYTHING!!!

I have the tiniest kitchen in the world and no back door as my fridge lives there.
Whenever I have a couple of jars or boxes etc, off I tootle out of the house from the front door to pop em in appropriate bins at side of the building. Not too much effort really. My kitchen bin rarely needs emptying as a result!

The tetra paks I have to take to Tesco as there are no facilities for them otherwise. No collections.

I put all my plastic bags into one plastic bag and take that Tesco when it is full. I fill it with cereal plastic bags, plastic wrappings, old food bags. Basically anything resembling plastic bags.

Batteries are saved in a jar until full and then taken tho the supermarkets as they can be disposed of there. Even lidl and aldi have a collection box for em instore.

Not a lot of effort really. If you have kids or care about the future, you would find it hard to be any other way. Nice to hear that some MSErs are gonna try to do it for the first time

Anyone doing the RSPB birdwatch today?

I did it today with kids. We spotted 16 species of birds in one hour. 54 birds all together. My father in law has an amazing garden for birds and feeds em like royalty every day. Always loads of activity there. :)

I also recycle got grey bin landslide , blue for paper card , green for gardening and food , brown plastic tins etc, green small bin in kitchen for food.

All clothes and stuff i think fit go to shop in town for reselling its the PDSA shop.
Shoes if passed sell by date :rotfl:like HC's get recycled in bin at mr T's

I also cut up christmas birthday cards to make gift tags and reuse Jiffy bags , envelopes and wrapping paper :D
