Morning everyone, bit miserable and grey looking here. Waiting for the magic phone call from "The manager that doesnt speak to customers" in a certain electrical store to tell me I can collect my new laptop;) Then will nip into the T's opposite for a quick look.
I know someone will know the answer to this cos you're all so clever. How and whats the best, free, virus control I can download for my new lappie or should I just buy one? I've always been a bit scared to download one in case it doesnt work, but I trust you lot to give me the right advice;)

I've been using the free version of Avast on my laptop and desk top for the past 5 years and it seems to do a very good job.

Hello to new thread, not T related but slight glitch in boots when you buy vitamins i tried today and it worked gives 41p off the rest of shopping.

Huge thanks gardenia for linking this here - didn't really take much notice of this thread on Grabbit, but well worth reading the whole thread as basically it means approx £18 of vitamins and energy shots for free AND approx £2.80 off your shopping. Need to buy 6 of the shots and 6 of the 79p vits for this to work best but you can get more expensive vitamins and have less "overage" (think that is the correct term that I have learned from this thread?).

Similar to the FCUK lip balm offer for those who did that.

I also got a £1 off wys £5 on healthcare voucher from the Advantage Card Machine that works with these vits, so had nearly £4 of free shopping when I popped in after the school run.
