just had an argument with bf (the usual, him spending too much on rubbish instead of keeping the money for important things & saving and thinking that if he uses a credit card it doesn't countand his argument for not having money is always 'I'm not earning as much as you!' sure but it's me who pays the rent and does the shopping! oh well, rant over... )
we're on the 'silence' bit atm and I'm really upset so will give T a miss today...
used to have a similar problem. But my OH knows he's no good with money so gives me bills and savings at beginning of month. Then the rest is his. Also no point in getting him stuff and then feeling taken for granted. If i lend my OH money he must pay back when he gets paid. We've managed 7 years marriage and had tough times. My OH has a good botty in the playboy pants too:rotfl: try to sought things out. The more you nag the less they hear;)grocery challenge 9.86/600 -

DS is sleeping better, I'm not holding out for insurance I left an upstairs window open although they must have been a superslim spiderman to get through it! We have looked at another house and are hoping to hear next week if the agents are happy for us to proceed. Luckily for us the new letting agents are next door to our current ones and said they get on well with our contact so we should have no problems we have always paid our rent 2 weeks early, and never caused them any problems.
We did get the boots glitch out of town next to Morrisons we used the credit for nappys so we are please now we just need to figure out what to do with the vitaminsWe didnt try in town just aswell by the sounds of it.. are there any boots stores with SS that you know of?

Is it just me ..or does anyone else think Boots has got really expensive?
I don't use them very often as there isn't one in Totnes. But I used to go to the big one in Exeter or Plymouth and found they were pretty competitive on a lot of the essentials.
When I went in today for the vitamin glitch, I really struggled for other stuff to buy. I walked around thinking "I'm not paying that!!" for nearly everything!
Even their own brand stuff was a lot more expensive than any of the supermarkets. My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -

@ the mods : You guys n girls should also reconsider you positions, remember this is all voluntary both ways.
take a look @ HC sig, clearly says Asperger's, perhaps something to think about before coming down heavy handed.
A little research and understanding goes a long way:

Fudge_Cake wrote: »Interesting point, I hadn't thought of that. Hmmm we'd have to ask the professionals on the coupon thread for advice on this one....best tread carefully though :p
Oh not at all. I don't want to come across as holier than thou so if anyone feels that's the point I'm trying to make, you're mistaken. I've made so many errors myself in the months since I started money saving on here but I try hard to abide by the rules (once I know them) because although we'd make a short term gain, there's always gonna be a long term loss....and I just think about how much I'll be able to make my pension stretch with all these glitches and coupons!!:rotfl::D
I dont think that at allI am still "learning the ropes" so to speak. I'm just glad my "error" was pointed out before I went out and did it!

Just back from Mr T's on the way in I wombled a £6 off £40 spend, so decided I may as well get my o/h Babyliss hair clippers for his birthday next month, also got the haribo Xmas mix and the cadburys xmas tree chocs and the Mr men jellies all now 25p a bag, last week I got my mates little lad a packet of 50 water balloons on a clipstrip with a 20p SEL, the mate asked me to get 15 more for party bags, when I went through the tills I was genuinely amazed (so much so I almost said nooooooooooo they are 20p) to see them scan at 98p, a quick trip to CS and a £25 refund :j:
I wombled the carpark and found a receipt with 166 unclaimed points on another 1 with 16 points on plus another few with between 1 and 5 points on, I now have 17 to put into the price checkerlife is like a loo roll. the nearer the end you get, the faster it goes.0
