Think how much we could save and stash if we all lived together:eek:...all our skills combined (not sure of mine yet) we would have stashes "a la extreme couponing" in a matter of days:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
And am I the only one here that doesn't actually want to use up my stashes? I would rather starve and admire them than actually eat into them! Kind of defeats the object I guess but everyone's got to have a hobby and at least mine is cheap!
PS I don't really starve but I do add WAY more than I use...:)

Can I admit to jealousy of your Portmeirion?Fudge_Cake wrote: »Now about this family, I feel mega left out!!Can I join the party please? I can sing and I can bake....though I think JJ might have that covered, gorgeous looking cake JJ. Thank you for the recipe and instructions, I will be trying that one out
I make a sponge using the same recipe you have but if I make a coffee sponge I tend to dissolve the coffee with a teeny bit of boiling water but I may have a go at grinding the granules up like you next time because it seems to give a nice 'look' to the sponge. Will be interesting to compare....maybe I'll make 2! :rotfl:
Can I join too please? I can sing along with fudge_cake if you like, depending on whether we can harmonise, FC what range are you? I'm (descant) soprano .
Can't really cook apart from making a cracking lasagne and a brilliant dairy milk cake but I can (almost) wallpaper and I know how to tile around the bath xxNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

QUEEN OF CHEAP I used those vouchers on the £1.50 offer box and it let me put two through on ss no bother, it doesnt care about "flavours" and its so small they cant read it very well.
My son says I have stocked up for the year with golden syrup flavour!!!!0 -
RootedNomad wrote: »I have had a look at my receipt and I think there is some kind of other buy 5 get one free offer kicking in as the "rogue" £1.99 is taken off for the fifth shot, not the sixth. So if you get 6, there is 1 x extra £1.99 taken off, but if you get 12 there are 3, ie 2 extras for the 10 items and a further one for the 3 for 2. To test it out you would need to buy 15 vits and shots (lowest common denominator of the 3 for 2 and 5 for 4 offers) and I simply don't have the brass neck for that. Only offer I can think of that is on 5 for 4 is the travel mimiatures/travel toiletries offer - need to check in a biggish store if the shots are inluded on the travel toiletries shelf/in that promotion as it is not available online.
Don't suppose that makes any sense at all to anyone!
It does make sense when you compare the receipt, somebody pointed out (sorry can't remember who) the other day that there was something coming off after 5 not six so yes you would prob need to try 15, and have a great deal of other shopping in anticipation of a hell of a negative balance to cover!
I would try that but you would be lucky to find somewhere with 15 cheapo vits and 15 shots...anyone up for the challenge???;)Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be

but it took a further £1.99 i've studied the receipt but can not fathom it out.
i would of got more in the store as manager said i could, but the only shots left were stickered 1/2 price at 99p.
kadison i assume you went to orbital park, how did you get on.
No I went to the same store, I found some unstickered shots at the end of the crisps aisle (after being told all were reduced), to be fair they were the same date, so all you need do is peel the reduced price off the other ones  and they'll go through at £1.99.Well done kadison hope that's first of many :T:T:T

I got excited when I spotted the pink Dreamies last night ... then I realised I was in Mr T ... and then that I don't have a cat! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -
Loads of the vits and shots in the Newton Abbot Boots. I just got the 6 of each, a nice pair of slippers which were half price to put back for a Christmas pressie, some toothbrushes and paracetamol
Total to pay £5.52 and total savings today £26.49 !!
Thanks for all the info....girl didn't bat an eyelid putting them through...wished I'd bought 12!!!!My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0 -
queen_of_cheap wrote: »misery guts just told me that he saw oat so simple golden syrup in T for £1.49 for a box of 16. Great, thinks me, so I go to print off the OSS voucher and its only valid for flavours that I wouldnt buy :-(
the sneaky person in me would suggest you buy the flavours you dont like using the coupons...then can you take them back and ask to exchange them for the flavours you do like? Or does this still constitute the same level of coupon abuse as using them on a product that you havent bought?hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -
Oh BTW I also made it to Sainsbob's for the reduced bedding, didn't like the quality of the only one I liked the look of (white with pink and grey flowers) so didn't buy it.
However they have an absolute TONNE of kitchen/bedding stuff on offer, some really quite heavily discounted. If you're local I went to B/mead, there are stacks and stacks of reduced bedding in about 5 different places around the store, really worth a look, plus a lot of other household/kitchen stuff as aboveNo Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Still catching up......FAB CAKES JJ :T:T:T
I've got lots of bread that needs using up....so I'll be doing a bread pudding with it. Think it can wait until the morning though.
It's quite a good one to do as you can cut it into triangles, wrap them in cling film and freeze individally, so I tend to make a couple of lots of itMy husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.0
