Phew.. I'm sure you would have had the Natural History Museum on your back otherwise :p. They are lovely though, goes very well with your garden.
And if someone compliments you on them, you can say, 'What, these old things?':D

Thanks for your kind words , we originally wanted to display them on a back wall but the slabs weight would have pulled down the walls !!. There were other darker ones but we decided on these .
£5 a slab if my old mind is functioning properly .
I was young once , now I get older all the time .

I've also made some quick girly cupcakes for my friend' daughter. Don't want to share the boozy baileys cake with a toddler!

Easy pink icing top tip: use cranberry juice not water!

See ya laters guys. Gotta go finish off bits n bobs.
    :)

Can I be the grump old aunt who sits in the corner tutting and telling stories about how it was better/harder in the old days and kids don't know how good they've got it now/what the meaning of hard work is and generally bringing the tone down please? :rotfl:

Just back from Mr T's on the way in I wombled a £6 off £40 spend, so decided I may as well get my o/h Babyliss hair clippers for his birthday next month, also got the haribo Xmas mix and the cadburys xmas tree chocs and the Mr men jellies all now 25p a bag, last week I got my mates little lad a packet of 50 water balloons on a clipstrip with a 20p SEL, the mate asked me to get 15 more for party bags, when I went through the tills I was genuinely amazed (so much so I almost said nooooooooooo they are 20p) to see them scan at 98p, a quick trip to CS and a £25 refund :j:

I wombled the carpark and found a receipt with 166 unclaimed points on another 1 with 16 points on plus another few with between 1 and 5 points on, I now have 17 to put into the price checker :)
Anyone can cuddle but only the Welsh can cwtch :)
  • there were plenty of the dreamies cat treats (pink packet, beef flavour) on 2 clip strips in the pet food aisle in "sainsbobs" in h01yw00d about an hour ago. i took 5 packets but one of the clip strips was left full. they are marked at almost £2.00 but scanned at 10p :)

Hi Everyone, I have just managed to catch up and OH has just come in from work to let me know that DS's motocross helmet has arrived at the bike shop and can be picked up anytime before 5:00pm:(

I am gutted that it is there as it now means that my DS can now go out with his dad to try out the bike he got for Christmas.
I don't think I can watch him as I am having panic attacks even thinking about it just now.

BTW the cakes look lovely, they are making me so hungry:)
