Hahaha...you sound like me. I like looking at my stashes and feeling proud of all the stuff I got free/cheap...hate having to use anything from the stash..:rotfl::rotfl:

Yeah ... like buying sweets rather than open a packet of 1p Miss Scary or Haribo Fantasy Mix.

I haven't done this yet but very nearly did the other day but just stopped myself at the last minute :o

has anyone seen this or tried it?? from the Tesco misprice thread

    Wine Glitch
Bought a bottle of Big Kahuna (Australian) wine yesterday - Shelf price £4 (down from £5.99), BUT scanned at £2.99 ;). Went back today and got four more at £2.99 each :). Would have got six to get the extra 5% discount, but trying to cut back a bit ...

Phew.. I'm sure you would have had the Natural History Museum on your back otherwise :p. They are lovely though, goes very well with your garden.
And if someone compliments you on them, you can say, 'What, these old things?':D

Morning all, havent posted in a few days but have been lurking (seem to have lost my T's mojo atm). Think all the stuff with the kids granda passing last week and DDs distress have caught up with me so been taking it easy trying to avoid a major fibro flare up.

I get Pethidine from time to time when this pain kicks in as they have told me there is nothing they can do for me regarding the cause of it ( 13 abdominal surgeries have caused adhesions that become inflamed) I do take dihydrocodeine which is a lot stronger than the co dydramol but have a new doc that doesn't like to give out anything so will just have to see how it goes xx
Hope your'e feeling better soon xxx

Thank you all for the kind posts. I know sometimes I take things a bit thick but after being bullied for years and not realising it, I'm hyper-defensive now. So apologies if I offend anyone. I never set out to be some super mum who does it all. I do what I can for the boys and some day they will see the sperm donor for what he is.

:AHugs to all the above and anyone else that's in need of a little cheering up at the moment :A xxx I am also hyper-defensive so I echo what Caz said, my appologies if any of my posts are a little abrasive sometimes, I don't mean it, it's a self-preservation mechanism :(

Now about this family, I feel mega left out!! :o Can I join the party please? I can sing and I can bake....though I think JJ might have that covered, gorgeous looking cake JJ. Thank you for the recipe and instructions, I will be trying that one out :D I make a sponge using the same recipe you have but if I make a coffee sponge I tend to dissolve the coffee with a teeny bit of boiling water but I may have a go at grinding the granules up like you next time because it seems to give a nice 'look' to the sponge. Will be interesting to compare....maybe I'll make 2! :rotfl:

MMW I read your comment but I don't know whether you meant it offensively or not so I chose to ignore it.
