QUEEN OF CHEAP I used those vouchers on the £1.50 offer box and it let me put two through on ss no bother, it doesnt care about "flavours" and its so small they cant read it very well.
My son says I have stocked up for the year with golden syrup flavour!!!!
Oooooh, I didnt think of SS, thanks for that! (my local proper is an express and tills only, and i clean forgot about the other one where they do have SS :-) And as it was his suggestion, I am going to arm misery guts with some vouchers and he can go through SS at his local :jthe sneaky person in me would suggest you buy the flavours you dont like using the coupons...then can you take them back and ask to exchange them for the flavours you do like? Or does this still constitute the same level of coupon abuse as using them on a product that you havent bought?
The sneaky person in me would suggest the same thing, but the sensible me thinks that it is too much hassle :-(I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Can I join too please? I can sing along with fudge_cake if you like, depending on whether we can harmonise, FC what range are you? I'm (descant) soprano .
Can't really cook apart from making a cracking lasagne and a brilliant dairy milk cake but I can (almost) wallpaper and I know how to tile around the bath xx
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:When I say I can sing I mean I can pull a crowd into Happy's bar (not very difficult I have to say...bunch of drunkards!!) not that I'm gonna be knocking Katherine Jenkins off the top of the classical charts anytime soon! :rotfl::p I have no idea what my vocal range is....perhaps you should take over kadison and I'll play tambourine

Oh dear Wendy, I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but I'm afraid what you've done is wrong. All coupons will scan regardless of whether you've bought the product. The only exceptions to this is when the coupon is issued by Tesco and then it can detect whether the cirteria has been met. The thing is even if the coupon scans and you get the money off your shopping, the supermarket will not be able to use those coupons to claim back the money from the supplier as you haven't bought the correct products. Thus causing a loss for the retailer. This is unfortunately why some stores are really cracking down on coupon use. Not using them as they are intended to be used will only cause all of us problems in the future, which some people have already experienced.
I hope this doesn't come across as angry, we all make mistakes but it's important to know that using coupons in this way is wrong.'There are people who have money and people who are rich' :heart2: Coco Chanel0 -

Just been to see my friend after work, gave her my 6 bottles of DTD Chardonnay (I don't drink wine), she was very impressed!
Also took her a bag of M&S managers reductions clothes in her size, coat £9 from £89, Cashmere poncho £12 from £125, Dress £9 from £79 etc ....and she loved everything I had picked. I wish I was a size 10, everything looked amazing on her.
It's fun sharing bargains. :beer:0 -

Interesting point, I hadn't thought of that. Hmmm we'd have to ask the professionals on the coupon thread for advice on this one....best tread carefully though :pLol just seen a TV ad promoting vitamins from only 79p in B00ts - I beg to differ they are loads cheaper than that!!!

Oh not at all. I don't want to come across as holier than thou so if anyone feels that's the point I'm trying to make, you're mistaken. I've made so many errors myself in the months since I started money saving on here but I try hard to abide by the rules (once I know them) because although we'd make a short term gain, there's always gonna be a long term loss....and I just think about how much I'll be able to make my pension stretch with all these glitches and coupons!!:rotfl::D
