  • Missing HC too, he and everyone else made me feel so welcome. Made me laugh quite a bit too.
    finally caught up!

I would just like to add following Nikkilala's post (thank you for posting that) that I think its an absolute crying shame that HC is not here right now. I find it weird that I think this about someone who I have never met, but this place has become a part of my life, as have the people who post here. Come back please HC :)

I'm off to bed shortly, I've had quite a rotten day, which involved me taking my dad to hospital with chest pains  Thankfully everything is ok, but it was quite scary at times :(

Ultra happy with my new tv though :j

Queen glad ur dad's ok, I know how scary it was for you.

Have had quite a bad day too, went to GP for my follow up appointment re bloods.
There a 2 things that measure inflamation and both these levels are up, wee test says there's no infection but I do have bad pain when the lower part of my stomach is pressed. If left alone I don't notice much apart from a dull ache.
The problem my GP's having is that at the levels they're at I should be doubled over in agony and not look as good as I do :D but when they were high (more than 4 times they should have been) in Nov 2010 I had only started to be in really bad pain 3 to 4 days before the bloods were done and was admited to hospital the next day because labs had phoned GP as emergency.
Waiting on call from GP to let me know whether I've to go on more antibiotics and/or wait for out patients appointment or go straight to A&E.
Just what I need with DS birthday on Sunday and a nice little day just by ourselves on Sat.

Keep your chin up, you are a unique fella and I wish you all the best x
  • Have just about caught up, although I have skipped quite a few pages:o

Hope HC is well and would like to say I too miss him!!

Do I still have my job behind the bar now he is not here??

On the Tesco's front, no bargains to be found today just a few whoopsies that have sorted tomorrows dinner out:)

    Hope everyone is well

:mad::(:(:(:( You poor poor thing SpiralingDown. I've been waiting on your news and really hoping things would be looking better for you and DS. I hope when the GP calls, it's good news, atleast so that you can have your mother/son day on Saturday as he wanted with you in no pain. Do let us know how you get on, will be thinking of you. :Axx

Was going to use an acronym, but given current vibes about swearing etc, think I'd best just use:

And it's goodnight from me too.

Best of luck spiralingdown, as someone said, soon spiraling up will be more appropriate.

Goodnight all/lurkers/past bar owners ;) Hope you all have good days tomorrow.
