yeah i thought that 2 lol my son says he dont want his frecking money hes only just found out i have been recieving csa hes 15 and angry, he dont realise how much its costs me keeping him in voi jeans and cardies at 50 quid a pop i need that money but he found out and cracked up oooops dont want anything to do with him unfortunatly i have already gave our son £5 a day school money plus £20 pocket money plus phone money and 3 other boys to look after :(

at 15 yr old you would think he would realise, just seems to think mummy can cope

You would be amazed at how little financial knowledge most teenagers have, most dont realise that they are going to pay tax when they start earning money, I know its my job!! I would suggest that he is old enough to be shown the family budget most dont realise how much th household expenditure is, maybe your son does, most dont. He is very priviliged to receive the amount that he does. My 17 yr old son does not get as much from me, he is doing A levels and has had part time jobs since 14 to help support himself. Not because we cant afford it but to help him understand the value of money. It must have helped as this year he got a new job after school working in a driving school as he knew he would want lessons - now he is 17 he gets them half price:T. At one point when he finished his GCSE's he had 3 jobs on the go through the summer. He likes having money in his pocket and realises he has to work for it. Better yet he has just applied for his CC and it has come today as he wants to get wombling and earning points:rotfl:
If it wasn't for blinds it'd be curtains for all of us:dance:

Meerkatsmimm £52/ hour? What for? I charged £40 and thought that was steep!

Infraction warnings go via PM rather than email, and there is no way for a user to block those in the options. PMs from administrators override any block, even if you try to disable PMs entirely.

    Thanks for clarifying.

So HC says he got the PM's from Andrea about the jokes 2 or 3 months ago but has had nothing since?!? No wonder he was angry to find his account killed off.

Given the above and the fact I nor anyone else seems to have had a warning (and lets face it HC wasn't the only one being a little naughty), one can only draw the conclusion that something untoward has happened.

Given the forum team no longer comment and only seem to selectively tell us what happened I guess we'll never know.

Off for my tea...might see you later.

Oh update on my issue with a Manchester mr t
    Refused dtd as used SS
Contacted ho in the store and the manager still refused to honour dtd despite being told to - ho sending a money card for balance of dtd
Decided to email a complaint regarding my treatment by the manager not the cs staff
Phone call back on Monday saying no I wasn't entitled
Today received money card for £15
Ok any clue as to why there profits are down oh yes they don't know what they are doing ......
    Xx

It will be interesting to see what Waitrose profits are ... I do keep suggesting in my complaints to Uncle Phil that Tesco should send their CS staff and managers for customer service/customer relations training along to Waitrose to see how it should be done.

This is what their staff got last March:

"Shopworkers at the John Lewis Partnership will this week receive a bonus worth nine weeks' pay after a storming year at the department stores and sister chain Waitrose. The 75,000 staff, known as "partners" because they co-own the retail group, are expected to receive a bonus of about 17% of annual pay in this month's pay packet.
All staff – from chairman Charlie Mayfield down to Saturday shelf-stackers – receive the same percentage payout and it comes after one of the most successful years in the partnership's history."

No wonder the staff are polite and always smiling and dont shout Oihhhhh across the tills to the customers.

Perhaps Phil should take a leaf out of Charlie's book ....

I think T's seriously need to look at a lot of their systems, but then if they do, we'll get less.

Their price check for instance, is beyond a joke. Everyone else can give instant results, computer generated, whereas T's take so long, and often won't compare what we know they both sell. For the first time ever, I actually got a "none of your items can be compared" email. Really?!!

I also detest the way you have to manually move from one box to another when inputting. Even M's on their current prize page, the boxes automatically move on as you type!

If you are not paying for it, you're not the customer; you're the product being sold.
