Ok coming right up then, was reverting back to my days as a sarcastic barmaid in one of the less classier establishments in Glasgow in the mid 90's.
Apologies, ice it is then:)
No problems, remins me of my younger days when I'd ask for a sherry and pineapple and the barman/barmaid would say 'In the same glass ' Of course it was or I would have asked for a sherrry and a pineapple juice pleaseMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Well I made my butterUsed two different methods, bottom one was done using whisk, top on was using another attachment, and it is more creamy and less yellow. Not tried it yet though!
Found these today, was last on shelf, had stick over barcode which was loose, got to check out and sticker had come off in trolley, scanned as not on file, so took her to label which she removed (and put inside the packet), put in the digits and it came up as 1.75 even though SEL was 3.00 so I took it
Hope your dad will be ok QoC and hope you will be ok too SD *hugs*
ETA: 3 dogs congrats you are now "debt free" seen your DRO sigx
Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end0 -

I used to do that too!!!! I always had to ask when I worked in the student union though as the students genuinely did want some strange combinations of booze in the one glass:beer:0 -
Hi all
I have just managed to catch up on all the news.
I am so gutted to see HC is gone. He made me laugh (a lot) with his comments. Hope he comes back soon.
Just a quick question, with the clip strip items, does it mean anything when the have a little * on the SEL?

Help yourself to drinks, but please leave money in the honesty box at the side of the bar.0 -

Well it is now officially 13th January 2012 and the 12 months' moratorium period on my DRO (Debt Relief Order) has now finished and my debts are now written off. I know that my debts weren't as great as some people on the debt forum but, with no way of paying them back, they were crippling me and dragging me down, so I am so relieved to have got to this point
For those that don't know, A Debt Relief Order is like a mini Bankruptcy, but only applies if you have no assets, other than a car worth least than £1000, have debts below £15,000 and have £50 or less left after paying for normal household expenses, so it isn't for everyone. Mr 3Dogs and I had £14,000 of debts between us but they were crippling us, and the constant phone calls and letters where dragging us into depression. I hadn't worked since Dec 1989 due to arthritis and Mr 3Dogs hasn't worked since he had a cancer op in December 2007, so we were very short of cash and just couldn't pay what they wanted to clear these debts. Thanks to MSE and CCCS, I found out about DRO's and eventually applied and mine was granted 13th January 2011. You wait a year, and then your debts are written off unless the order is revoked for any reason during that 12 months. We had to wait to do a DRO for Mr 3Dogs because of the rules about private pension funds but that changed in April and I finally got round to sorting out his paperwork and going through CCCS for a DRO for him late last year. I paid his £90 fee two days ago, so just waiting for a phone call to go through his details and the DRO will be submitted, so this time next year, hopefully, we will be in a much better place
All I can say is:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

So that every single post that I contribute to this thread is on topic I would just like to say I am an elite 11+ member and I hear the unjust silence of my opinions whilst I am shopping in supermarkets mainly. Just sayin.0
