Do you ever go to things where "refreshments" are served & when you ask for a cup of milk, the old lady doing the teas nearly has a heart attack or gives you an inch of milk I find it frustrating there are loads of offers for free Tea & coffee with meals but they won't give free hot chocolate.

To be more in the minority I don't like Garlic either :eek:

Sorry all, especially to Red Fox for disagreeing, but I have read the paragraphs linked which say :

Now, if someone's persistently causing trouble, they're PPR'd. If they are please do not discuss them. It's unfair to do this when they aren't able to respond.

I read this as not wanting to discuss them as in negative terms that they are not able to respond to. I think most of whats been quoted on here has been positive and supportive, although I do respect if Happy Chappy doesn't want everyone to bicker about it. I just hope that he is able to resolve this in whatever way he feels best for himself, and the mods find some middle ground and let him back where he belongs. I for one love reading this thread and its not the same without him

As I've said in the past (not here mind you) ,making people happy is one of the biggest free buzzes going ....and for the Scots I didn't say free bus (apologies for any racial sterotyping)

If we can all munch down a slither of humble pie I'm sure tomorrow could be a brighter and happier day for All .

Go on Big Man ...it's easy and low in calories as well .

checking in after a few days r&r due to super swollen cankles and some high bp....baby meerkat is on strict instructions to stay put for a few more weeks yet!

Things seem a little quiet around here and it is a shame...hopefully in a few days things will be back to normal (well as normal as this group gets tbh)

no glitches to report...picked up the last of the 27p globes in Sc%^thorpe...is it wrong i want to try to return them 'sans' receipt?!:eek::eek::eek:.....must not do such a heinous thing as i actually bought them as gifts for the birthdays meerkat will no doubt be invited to over the coming months.

got info through today that Mr A's baby event starts on 27th....lots of newborn starter kits for me i think...£3 each:j:j:j
