I was referring to the comments about the not very pleasant post. Should have quoted.
I did report the post involving the name calling. I got a reply asking for the link to the post which I think is strange as I pressed report on the post itself. *confused*:A Every moment is a gift. That's why we call it the present.!:A

Hi all don't think I've seen this mentioned. Joseph Dobson boiled sweets reduced to 23p a bag. I bought butter mintoes, menthol mixture & pear drops.
Also found a whole box of 1p toy story car signs on the floor down the car/camping aisle. :j (these will be used as fund raising in sisters school) Left half a box!
Found the globes but no scanner so hubby checked with checkout who said they can't sell it to him. So went & got the other 2 on display which went through @ 27p:T

Do you ever go to things where "refreshments" are served & when you ask for a cup of milk, the old lady doing the teas nearly has a heart attack or gives you an inch of milk
I find it frustrating there are loads of offers for free Tea & coffee with meals but they won't give free hot chocolate.
To be more in the minority I don't like Garlic either:eek:
I know exactly what you mean....and if I ask if I can swap the tea/coffee for a different drink then invariably the answer is no....can never understand why as the cost is not much different. :mad:
I do like garlic though...:rotfl::rotfl:Born to glitch0 -

I will report your post as we cant have one rule for one on here and another for another.hoping for a very MSE Ts glitching 2012!0 -

Know exactly what you mean, I'm also a non tea/coffee drinker and get very strange looks when I ask for milk instead!
:eek: I don't like garlic either :eek: or anything with garlic (or garlic puree/salt etc) in it.Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.0 -

I don't read or post on this thread often so I'm not part of the close community but as a lurking outsider I have never been offended by any of HC's posts. As a parent I wouldn't be offended if my 13+ child read his posts either because I should be monitoring what they are doing/reading on the internet (there is a lot of nasty stuff out there far worse than a few swear words).
I understand mod and admin have a difficult job as I am an admin of a forum myself and sometimes you have to make choices for the forum as a whole when in your heart you do not want to make those choices. So I can sympathise with the situation they are in. I would however have made more allowances for his illness and followed him around editing his posts for a few weeks with comments as to why I had edited them. Maybe one of his friends (who he would probably listen to) would have had a few stern words with him. Maybe a post in this thread to say any more bypassing of the filter sytem and you will get a yellow card so again those he knows and trusts can help him and remind him when he gets too comfortable.
It just seems such a shame he has been pushed oaway from what was probably a very good support network and one he will never get again because his illness provides him with lots of social barriers 90% of us do not have.
This is what I would have expected to happen. I couldnt believe
it when I saw he'd been banned.0 -
