In my experience of wombling & price checking my own receipts, Happy's shoes raised more money :(

Yesterday I made those Tesco Mary Berry Cupcakes & followed the recipe exactly just substituting lemon juice for brandy as suggested. Don't like them at all, did anyone else think what is basically fruit cake is a little weird with lemon buttercream icing? My Mum has put them out for the birds, no takers either :rotfl:

    ar

I cooked a few over Christmas and I thought they might be better off without any icing . I'll be sure find out as we've a ton of the Mary Berry bags in the coal shed .

have you eaten all your free jelly?

we didn't have any , must have been overlooked .

I had so many Motherly rows and clips as a young kid for eating the jelly straight off the block ...memories .,thank goodness the bruises have gone .

Ive made some today, I dont know if Ive done it right though, proof will be in the eating I suppose!!!

Al I did was put it in the kenwood mixer, whisked until it separated. Poured the milk off, I kept putting water and pouring it off untill it ran clear.. I did add some salt though.
