We're not really into beaches etc, I would do a few water based exercising in the private villa pool though. Gatwick is drag to get to living so close to Heathrow it seems a waste but the idea of a direct flight appeals so I'll bear that in mind it might be worth it. I'm sure you can post the villa link or pm me, my box has been springcleaned :)

Thanks :beer:any other suggestions gratefully received

QPR , any rumours regarding the club I can fwd to Canada ...

Snap Ant has visted Floria a few times ,I'm sure she'll have summat to say in regards advice .

I wouldn't bother with ebay - as you say there are so many anyway and postage is expensive so bids won't be high.

I think you would easily get £10 at a car boot sale.

You might get more but the packaging makes them look more like toys than 'proper' telescopes imho.

I was wondering that, are they proper telescopes albeit it at a beginners level rather than toys? I have no clue what constitutes being a proper telescope. I was hoping for more like at least £25 :(

ah well , i took Tyson the Dyson for a walk around the living and upstairs ,the cats scarpered upon hearing his whinning howl , that gave me time to plump up the DW cushions and I'm now ready to prepare a quick and simple tea time meal of smoked mackrel & mushrooms on organic stonebaked bloomers , all purchased with those lovely little yellow stickers on them .
This should ensure that Snap Ant has enough time to go on a mission with Mister T - if need be .

Pudding ,what to do for pudding ...decisions decisions .

Betty Crocker pancakes from DTD days with home made butter made from the cheap T's cream!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Ok, I have had to resort to lurking for the past wk as my dad was rushed into a&e on sunday morning where for only the grace of god, he did not die.
Thank you Motherbear and Kymie for asking how he has been, I did see your posts but unfortunately had no time to reply until now.

On the subject of HC, which I have no problem of bringing up, I for one have found this thread like a little family to me and wouldn't be without it. There are many of us on here that feel that way and share similar problems, which is why we can all understand what each other is going through and help each other out, where our other friends and family may not be able too.
For example, I know that I am definately not the only person on here with friends or family in hospital and from some of the responses I have had, I know that some of you have personal experiences with both mine and my dads health conditions.

It is also somewhere to get away from some of the realities of real life and say things that under normal circumstances we may not feel able to talk about.
This thread has been my lifeline for the past 5 months and HC has been a big part of that.

He brought a lot to this thread and to me personally. He has always been kind and helpful. For example, if it wasn't for his help, I would not be able to share pics of all my finds with you all. He has also brought awareness to people about aspergers, which can been seen from some of the recent posts. Which will hopefully mean that when encountering anyone else with a similar condition we may now all have a greater understanding of what it is like for them.

I know that having any kind of medical condition does not excuse anyones behaviour, but I think when upset a lot of us would lash out. Then once we'd had the opportunity to think things through and calm down, we may feel differently.
On the subject of younger people reading this thread, it is surely up to their parents to decide what they have access to on the internet and when most of HC's comments that may be close to the mark (along with some other posters too) are posted in the early hours, the surely not allowing youngsters to view the nightime postings, may be a more sensible option.

I too was surprised that a lifetime ban was put in place and would have thought a temporary suspension to act as a warning, may have been a more appropriate first course of action. This in itself would ensure that HC actually rec'd the warning, unlike the messages sent that he may not have.

I also find it very difficult to make friends and am very often misunderstood and thought of as rude or difficult, so I know how HC feels in a situation like this. But HC as you have become so comfortable of this thread, to the extent that you even felt happy to come out and post your piccie, it would be such a shame to lose all of that and all of your friends on here just because right now you feel angry :(, HC I hope that given some time you will change your mind about wanting to be back here and will do whatever it takes to join us again :)

Glad to hear your Dad is on the road to recovery Fudge2

I echo everything you said re HC, you have said everything that I wanted to say but have been unable to put into words.

Missing your posts HC, would love to 'see' you back on here but if not I will definately come and speak to you next time I spot you in T's.
