I haven't posted much lately, but really feel i want to put my views forward. This thread had from the start been like a little family, and in every family you find characters with little idiosyncrasy's, which is why we love them warts and all. And when you have love and respect for people you accept them as they are and try to nurture them and get the best out of them not just for their sakes but also for our own. Happy Chappy was always ready to take us all at face value and never judged any of us and accepted us and hopefully he felt that we treated him in the same way. I just now know that this little family is not going to be the same without him being around, its like i have started to read a book today and the plot of the story is missing, which makes it all feel very empty and worthless. Happy Chappy if you are reading this, please think about what has been said and i know its not easy to do but "sorry" is only a little word if you type it quickly, i know it may sound selfish of me but please, please, please[B!! reconsider we so need you back where you belong within our little family, as without you there is now a big hole and i can think of no one that can fill it like you did xxx[/B]Very proud to be Strip club member No 430

Yesterday I made those Tesco Mary Berry Cupcakes & followed the recipe exactly just substituting lemon juice for brandy as suggested. Don't like them at all, did anyone else think what is basically fruit cake is a little weird with lemon buttercream icing? My Mum has put them out for the birds, no takers either :rotfl:
I know there are threads for this question but it would take an age to plough through them all. After the doctor suggesting a cruise to convalese (how do you spell that word!), I'm consider going to Florida with my mother, doc said it would do her good to have a break too, maybe a bit more stressful for me but at least I'd know what she's up to.
I've been to Florida a couple of times & book everything myself no problem (the rest of America even more times) but things are different this time, I had ages to book it & work things out, we took children, this time it will just be us, to go by the end of Feb possibly sooner) my brain & body aren't working too well at the moment & I need a bit of help.
I've had a dabble on kayak.co.uk all these sites have their own advantages & disadvantages.
I can play around with dates & prices etc, what I'm interested in is, a site which will show me who flies from LHR & gets there in the shortest time & arrives early afternoon, none of the flights will be direct I know that but not interested in a 4 hour layover or arriving in the dark, then I can work on dates & prices.
We would rather a villa than a hotel, Kissimmee will do we may not even visit any theme parks due to the walking aspect I'm quite confident on Hwy 192 & driving further afield if we want to go to a specific shop etc but as there is only two of us we only want a two bed villa. Anyone any knowledge of small villas? Fantasy World Villas is an option but you are on top of people there.
Neither of us relish the flight but once there we can do as little or as much as we want.
Can anyone add to the list of things I would need to do?
Cattery
Passport & Driving Licence in order, new fangled visa thing in place
Book flights, insurance, car hire & villa (Cashback if poss)
Travellers chqs & currency
Order special meal for flight
Update on info re Disabled Parking Placard in Florida

Watch several clips of extreme couponing on youtube :rotfl:
Next OT subject I got a couple of telescopes which eventually I could use towards funding our trip, Ebay is awash with them at present, do I put them on EBay & take what I can get, wait till most of the others are sold or keep them in the hope I will get a few more things for a Boot Sale later in the year, would I get a realistic price for something like that at a boot sale ?0 -
