Oi HC! Sabotage is NOT allowed! Play fair :p

P.S You'll do much better losing weight if you have 3 healthy meals a day as it will keep your metabolism ticking over. Having just one meal a day is going to send your metabolism into shock and you'll go into starvation mode which will mean your metabolism will slow down as your body cannot determine when it will next be fed.

Apparently all the "stars" eat a bit of apple or carrot or sth low cal before they go to bed to rev up their digestive system while they sleep. Was saying to OH only tonight we should try it.
    Hope is not a strategy.

I get annoyed with the parent and child spaces too but not to the same extent as they are courtesy spaces rather than a necessity.
For us if we take DS to tesco or such places they are a necessity, he is 7 and I have mentioned before he has aspergers, well if he has a meltdown we need to be able to open the door fully to get him into the car, plus they are normally closer to the store so means less distance to walk to the store so less chance of him dashing off though not always.

We were refused a blue badge for him as according to them he didn't need it due to the fact 90% of the time he will/can walk though they didn't care when I explained about meltdowns, or the fact he has hyper-mobility and hurts in cold weather.
I try not to make too many exceptions for him just because he has aspergers but there are certain things like this that can help make life safer and easier!

If we only have DD with us (2) next month it isn't a huge problem if there are no parent spaces, yeah it is a pain getting her in/out, especially with my bad back or when some @rse parks badly but I feel like in that situation it is a nice thing to have the space rather than necessity if that makes any sense?

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Just to confirm is this just for glitches or any bargain info?

    Hi Annoat

I think it's safe to say that this thread is for anything and everything. Tesco related or not. Just take off your hat and coat, kick off your shoes and join the banter :o

Hello to all, I still don't know if I am posting this info on the correct thread but have just spent the last hour reading this thread to see if I was and have been brought to tears reading the posts ( in a good way). I haven't laughed so much in ages it was well needed.

So anyway i am a regular Mr T's whoopsie shopper and only found cheap bread tonight but did see 90 dishwasher Fairy tablets for £5.13, it's not a glitch just a bargain. See have picked up the jargon. Hope info is useful to some of you and thank you so much. THIS THREAD ROCKS.

Its your one stop for information on everything and everything. Enjoy!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

No eggs in my local T's but that's hardly surprising.

What I did get though were Cadbury Wishes. SEL stated 65p each or 4 for £1. I was hoping the discount wouldn't come off resulting in a nice DTD but the discount did come off. :( Still, 25p for a large lump of chocolate isn't bad.

    And...

I bumped in to an ex member of T's staff on my way back up the road and I got a hug and a kiss on the cheek from him.:D

Long story but the rest of the staff made his life hell and picked on him for not being the full shilling. One day I was turning down one of the aisles and heard the tale end of a nasty comment someone was making to him as they walked past him. Later I found him at the other side of the shop restocking the freezers and I walked up beside him and reached for something in the freezer next to him and without looking at or even acknowledging him I said "make another comment like that again to my friend Craig and I'll be waiting outside in the dark for you one night when you least expect it". The guy left shortly afterwards but it didn't stop the others from picking on him.

It all got too much for him in the end and he had to leave. I've seen him and spoke to him a few times since he left but it was only tonight that I got the opportunity to tell him what I'd done and I hug and a kiss on the cheek for it.:o:o

All I can say is, THANK YOU HC. Whether he was the 'full shilling' or not doesn't matter. He was doing his job and shouldn't be ridiculed by colleagues.

If I suggested a little nibble of something before sleep to the O/H I dread to think of the reply I'd get :p

This year I have managed to pick masses of mushrooms when I've been walking the dog. Some of them have been as big as a dinner plate.
The picture below shows one I picked... and one of the Sainsbury's basic mushrooms...normal size, not a button mushroom!
I've sliced them and frozen them and they are great to use in spag bols, casseroles etc.

Lovin the mushrooms. We went on a fungi foray for the first time this autumn. Too many grubs on em though. Yours look immaculate. Dead impressed. :)

My whoopsie casserole has stretched very far. Made 2 leftover pies from the rest in the crock pot:
