    They are all brilliant!
I went to Scunny once many years ago. We had driven up from the West Country and I couldn't believe the difference in Temperature when I got out of the car - It was like a different country!!
Apart from that I don't remember anything about it :rotfl::rotfl:

They never used to have any frosts up there either due to the heat from the steel and iron blast furnaces!

You lovely lot have a lot to answer for!

A month ago I didn't even know that a reduced fruit & veg section existed ...... today all the produce I bought came from there at 70% off.
It's good because it makes me try new things, had my first taste of fresh plums this evening. :D

Let me just state for the record that 52 is not "really old". Especially for a lady like Ladyleenie who obviously takes care of herself and is young at heart.

"Really Old" is a state of mind. Some people are not very old at all really at 70, and others are positively ancient at 35.

PS I'm a fellow Per Una fan :) . Just prefer not to source it from M&S where possible ;)

    Absolutely love your reasoning!;)
  • Hello lovelies :)

Been away for a few pages so got a bit of catching up to do. Thought I'd have a shower and wash my hair so I'm feeling fresh and raring to go in the event of the 75% sale at Boots!! Mum came home and we had a quick catch up when she got home bless her and then I've been out in the garage sorting out my food and drink collection so I had room for my Sainsbo's haul yesterday! OMG I was gonna post a photo but I am SO embarassed, the pics are crazy!! I have so much chocolate!! And many other things too! Thank goodness for bargains, I could never have justified buying it all at full price, nor could my bank balance! Off to catch up :)

I like the one on the bottom left...scu%thorpe folk like their stickers...there is a driving instructor with one on the back of his car saying about not driving too close or something because 'you was a learner once'...have a pic on my facebook, must dig it out.

Thanks for the thanks people. Wasn't sure if I'd get a bit of flack for poking my nose in! Its nice to have support from you guys. :)

Oh the other thing in there, I found a complete unopened box of snow globes....chucked it in my basket but ended up just taking one out the store as I gave all the others away to other bargain hunters! **FK thinks they is far too soft**

No problem! you should also send a mail to HO in the strongest possible terms describing your trauma!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
