Just to let you all know, my OH had to surrender 9 bags of mini eggs at the SS, as they now scan at 1.50  it was the 1624 barcode, and those had worked last night and this morning in the same store.

    happened to me too:mad::mad::mad::mad:

The SEL was £2.50 and I found four packs marked 2 for £3 amongst about 20 packs with nothing written on.
Grabbed the four packs and on checking my receipt I saw that a multibuy discount of £4 had come off :(
Mine must be the only T's in the country that's got it right :mad:

DS loves this. Got a few boxes ;). Store has restocked, is it still working? TIA

I didn't get on with acupuncture I had it done at the hospital & a different sort done by a G.P. who used to do it on herself for migraines. I had just gone from a session with her to the nearby bank & I came over all perculiar, I thought I was going to be sick in the cashiers well

It didn't cure me but loads of people swear by it, my vet, who does everything, told me his does it on dogs successfully
i've had acupuncture from my gp- i had a headache for 9 days, which nothing would get rid of. I also had a really horrible pain in my neck.

Everything disappeared within 2 hours :j i felt a bit weird and tired after having it done, but she did warn me that it might happen.

Best of all, I can have it when i want or need it, AND i can still give blood as it is my GP who does it :j

Yeah I did feel a bit funny after it on the walk home, but it didn't last long thankfully. So I'm rather hopeful at the moment, think she said she would do 3 sessions. Would be nice to finally get rid of it, had this dodgy shoulder on and off for as long as I can remember and its really quite annoying!

    OK Boots sale-a-holics:

Was in Boots about 4pm today, one aisle had cleared shelves plus a manager type scratching his head over a piece of paper that very much looked like a display diagram, IYKWIM. I think it's on for tomorrow. The evidence is stacking up :o

    Woohooooooooooo!

Off to peer in Boots windows, do you think I'll get into trouble if I take my torch to shine inside the shop, through the window ???:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I am seriously getting worse did think about taking OH's high beam one:o

Yes do that and if there's a sale, take a small cut out of a £ sign and stick it in front of the torch then shine it into the sky as a callsign to us all!
PMSL, just kicked it off big time in my local store!!!

Turned up just in time to see the remnanats of the first batch of fruit and veg all over the floor with the burkha lady and her family with arm fulls of stuff and everyone else with next to nothing and them all complaining. There was also a member of the public who couldn't get trhrough with his trolley He said it was embarrasing to watch and they behaved like animals.

I thought enough was enough so went to complain. Theres a lovely lady on CS who really is very helpful but also won't stand any nonsense and as luck would have it she was on tonight. I went and complained and she said she'd take a look. In the meantime I said to the other bargain hunters that it needed more than just me to complain otherwise I'd just sound like a whinger! 2 of them did just that.

A little while later the chap was about to reduce the meat (there wasn't much) and asked him when he'd be out with it so I could avoid the 'rugby scrum'. he laughed and said they 'd like a certain family stopped. I thought hmmmm, I've heard that somewhere before!!!

10 mins later and the manager I'd spoken too stood by the meat area as the reductions were wheeled out and everyone got what they wanted. She came over to me and said how orderly and peaceful it was. I commented that it was becasue ceretain people were not there. She then went on to add that since I'd complained she'd spoken to the members of the reduction team and was gobsmacked that they'd all told her exactly the same thing!

a short while later the last of the fruit n veg came out and she watched as that was dived into and scrumed over! She then told me how she had the right to refuse to serve anyone she so chose. As I left the store the whole family were stood at CS with the manager and things didn't look too happy!!!

Sooooo, a huge thank you to Tesco for listening and doing the right thing.
