  • I hope the news at 4 is good! Thank goodness you have insurance even if it takes weeks to pay out and there is the £55 excess, I guess we always hope that we won't need the insurance its at times like this that you need it. I'll be thinking of you cos I know what its like to have an animal injured, keeping my fingers crossed your cat is home soon. LGx

I'd been thinking about cancelling the insurance as he's been so healthy. Glad I didn't now!

Oh bless, hope he is alright. We have 2 cats and worry about them so much. For now they re snuggling up together on our bed. We got insurance when one of ours came in with a huge gash all down his front leg, not so considerate neighbour had thrown an empty bottle of vodka out his bedroom window and cat had cut himself on it! Had insurance ever since. Its worth every penny. Update us at 4.

    Hope everything goes OK

One MSE Point, if you ask your vet really nicely, he may either bill the insurer direct (upon proof/checking etc) or give you leeway on payment terms..

Our vet billed over £800 direct to insurer for our bunny zec7lh.gif
