I would contact the local newspaper making a big thing out of the fact that your husband/partner was effectivly thrown out of the baby pool for being male. The government wants fathers to be activly involved in our childrens lives ad upbringing, the goverment wants parents to increase exercise levels in our children and the government wants us to use local council owned gyms, yet some jumped up little so and so decided to take the "mothers and baby" title literally, with more and more men staying at home to raise children and men starting to share childcare responsibilities this is absurd and is political correctness gone too far.
He should demand a formal apology , demand that the title of the session is changed to "parent and baby" and also demand that the jumped up jobsworth is sent on a "customer care" course

As a dad of 2 young children (one aged 2 and one aged 10 weeks) I am fuming on his behalf.....god help anyone who tried this on me
