Ah, something wrong with people who clean toilets now? I'd hate to see the state of the lavs in your house if you're too snobbish to wash them now and again. Can I help?0 -

If you backtrack through the thread you'll see that I've been kind enough to translate many of your posts into English as we always have a "be nice" policy here. I've been happy to do the same with the above one but still don't understand exactly what you mean.
Perhaps you could clarify your analogy, specifically in regard to why anybody shooting fish in a barrel would require bait?
Don't worry too much about correct grammar and spelling.Can I help?0 -

You are not very fast on the uptake are you? It makes perfect sense, he is saying "like shooting fish in a barrel" meaning you fell for my bait and became a fish in a barrel and in essence became easy to shoot. I know it's complicated for people of low intelligence to grasp the meaning of simple metaphors, just keep asking me and taxi to explain it to you and we will happily help.0 -

So that is a yes then. You have admitted you have to clean the train toilets now and again. I will save an extra special present for the train on Monday.0 -

Why do you make assumptions? You have no idea who I am or wether I work.
And your AE still hasnt answered, wether or not he agrees with fare evasion in cabs, but you have so I guess by definition he also has0 -

"like shooting fish in a barrel" is a simile, not a metaphor. The clue is in the first word.
However, I do look forward to more grammar lessons from you and, in particular, Geordie Taxi. They will be most enlightening. Can I help?0 -

So because I have respect for people who clean toilets, that automatically makes me the person who cleans the toilets on your particular train? I have respect for people who sweep roads as well, presumably I fit that job in on the way to the station
Where you've fallen down here and, I suspect, elsewhere in life is that you believe you are much cleverer than you actually are. I have never claimed to be cleverer than you because I really don't care if I am or not.
But to you trivial things like that really do matter. Your life isn't about helping others or being nice to people. It's always about getting one over on the other bloke and picking fights with people to whom you're totally insignificant. And then you have to boast about it and act surprised when people forma a negative opinion of you.Can I help?0
