I've decided to make lavender bags for the ladies favours. They were supposed to be christmas present but I never got round to finishing them so decided to make them for the Wedding. Just need to work out what to give/make the men.

Robinred, your makes are wonderful! I love your necklace, and the button hearts and invites are amazing. How many invites did you do? How long did they take?
  • Robinred, in a word: WOW! Loving your work! :T

let' see, I'm making loads of things:

    customising my veil
    customising my shoes
    favours (soap)
bride and groom shaped chocolates for the drinks reception
    invites
    order of service
    centrepieces (hanging birdcages with candles)
    name places
    table plan
names and date on a wooden hanger for my dress
    card box
a ring 'book' (instead of a silly pillow thing)
a CD of songs to play during the dinner.

Think that's about it though I may have forgotten something!

  • RobinRed I love your wooden hearts. Did you make the wooden heart shapes or did you buy them?

RobinRed, How did you make these lovely hearts, would be interested for instructions if you made them yourself...
  • We made all of the place names, orders of ceremony & menues. Worked out at about £30 for materials
And we made up the favour bags too - bought them in bulk off ebay, together with personalised love hearts, then made seed favours using buisness cards from vistaprint attached to filled little bags of seeds (again, bought in bulk). Worked out at about 35p a favour.

Thankyou! I'm not sure how long they take, I made 4 and now I'm doing a bit of a production line, I have spent maybe 5 hours and I think after another 5 hours I should have 50 invites... oh that's not including the inserts as not sure what we're doing for that yet!
