MrsDrink - how do you make those paper hearts? They're beautiful!

above is link hopefully to a button bouquet i have made . . . . this is not going to my actual one. Mine is bigger and i have included brooches that belonged to my great grandma and buttons from lots of family and friends. The furthest being sent from Australia! So it will be a true heirloom to keep for years to come.

I am also making my own invitations . . . thay are not ready yet as i have changed my mind twice already!
    Menu cards come place names
    Seating plan in a frame
Also to the list is paper pom poms for centre pieces stood in old tin cans covered in paper or fabric.
Decoupage table numbers (cardboard 3d numbers)
large paper pom poms to hang from the beams
Button themed favours - eg. Wine glass charms and brooches. Still unsure what to do for the men?
Going to decorate an M&S cake with buttons and ribbon

Thanks White_Sapphire I never even noticed the little box saying quote lol.

I am really impressed with the things everyone is waiting. I can't wait to get started on my crafting.

johannalf88 I am love your table cake. Once it has the people on it I bet it will look lovely. I'm thinking of doing my own cake but am unsure about whether it will just be a simple tiered Victoria Sponge decorated with icing sugar and fresh edible flowers or to have a go at icing one. I don't know whether my icing would look as smooth as yours :rotfl:

Rox_V I really like the idea of having photos from your parents and grandparents wedding days. It will be lovely for you family and friends to look at.

Future_Cooper - I have never seen a button bouquet before. It is really effective. I especially like that all the buttons are different type of white button. :T

    You people are so clever:T

The nearest I will be getting to making things is designing the table plan & writing the name cards for the table!

Vicky, it's actually easier than I thought! I just brought a smoother and followe the instructions (I brought a sugarcraft mag) to get it smooth. If you are thinking of making your own I would recommend doing a fruit cake. That way you can make it months before, and ice it like a week before, and not have to stress about it!

I think if I do decorate it will have to be a fruitcake because I will need the months before the wedding to practice lol :rotfl: Thank goodness my mum is good at baking. I'm sure I can get a little bit of help.
