Just having a quick catch up and things seem to be going very nicely indeedy Mrs B , so pleased for you !

London weekend sounds good, you have your hotel sorted but thought I would mention we have stayed at the H0xton a few times and even managed to bag their £1 rooms when they have their crazy sales before as well.

Re the Lodger, i sometimes think I should think about it too, I have the room, but I am really weird with the whole privacy thing and I'm not sure how I would feel having someone else in my house. I really admire those that manage it .

Great news re the hours,I am glad you and OH have managed to sort a plan of action as well for school hols etc.

Oh and I made my first Tilly Tidy today,actually technically I dont think it is a Tilly Tidy but I was very proud of myself so will ignore anyone who tries to tell me otherwise. I paid an additional 31p to the bank loan ! Not sure it will make much of an impact but Hey Ho !! :rotfl:

Something going on the weekend we are up there..can't find a cheap hotel for love nor even cash! But will try Hoxton in future..sounds very swish from what I have heard!

Do think about a lodger Mrs PG...I find that if you have rules when people live with you that mean that your living room is your own then it can work out OK...and the money would be useful for you guys!

So..today OH upgraded the TV box (£220 worth) for £49. Almost covered by the EBay sales this week but that's not the point. Bit narked that he did it before asking. In his favour he wrangled a deal that is usually only available to new subscribers .. But I am going to ask him to check in with me in future..

Had to buy fuel today but all business miles so should cover it. Do seem to be having to fill up all the time though, so cash flow issues will arise. Reminds me, must hand in my expenses form on Monday....otherwise wont getting them back for a few weeks....remind me girls!!! You have permission to nag:rotfl:

Just flying by as have work to do..but did manage a sort of lie in until 8:45 when OH took Dd2 to school..although was woken earlier by OH starting work on laptop at 6am:eek: Just turned over and ignored him though!

So far today - had veggie box delivered ( but wont be able to pay until they update my online account later in week..so does that count as a NSD???!;)) and done a Tilly Tidy.

Got a week off at Easter..can't wait. Tired now and kids are hanging:eek:.

We think we have a lodger lined up for the summer who we have agreed will also do some childcare..half way house if you like. Reduced rent in return for some work. Will see how it goes but will massoooively reduce our childcare bill..

Oh and in breaking news..2 days in and DW is still working fine..PHEWWW

Can't believe it's been SOOOOO long since I checked in..says something about mad mad weather, first time have had to use snow chains in England:eek: and time my journeys in and around the snow plough route! Then mad few days working away...shattered, absolutely pooped now. But one more mad day and then should be done for a well earned :rotfl: week off!!

Have been doing Tilly Tidys most days but that's it. I have not been spending but I can see from the account that OH and family have. But TBH it's expected that they buy food so not all bad. Unexpected spends at a real minimum.

Poor results in EBay. Didn't sell my last 4 or so items. But OH and I will list after we get back from a few days away. Have to say relisting is so much easier these days..just a click away really.

Hi brizzled - lurker here. Whereabouts in the city are you - I live in one of the nearby coastal towns and we haven't had any pitching snow this time round. Although, I visited the museum on Monday and came back to my car to see the one in front with snow on its roof.

The snow wasn't in Bristol but in the North Midlands as we were visiting friends. Quite an adventure. Still bad there and more forecast. Now the drifts alongside the single track roads the snowploughs have cleared are collapsing the problem is starting all over again for them. There is one stretch of road where 2 cars have been left....not that anyone can see them! :eek:

I like the M Shed..nice place and free:T

Off with OH and kidlets for a few days. Perishing cold.. But we will have a good time I am determined about that:rotfl:
