- switched off heating at weekend..its April for goodness sakes and have resisted switching it on again..(but may light the log burner;))
- got my paperwork through for a M&S bank account so £100 coming my way..may move across 2 DDs to get some vouchers..but can't move the whole thing as excellent mortgage rate linked to my existingCurr Acc

Did you ever find the eggs ?!! I am intrigued as to where they have been laying them .
The sun makes a huge difference to me. I seem to get so much more done and feel much happier. Even DD1 is getting out of bed in the morning without being dragged out by her feet ! :rotfl:

Hey folks
It's great to be back.
new Leaf, we lost a chicken about 3 years ago. Our own stupid fault. They cant see well in the dark and had roosted on the fence. OH had a new mac and was playing and forgot to go and take them down and shut them in...well you can guess the rest. One survived..she only died, sadly, earlier this year. The other copped it.
Haven't lost one since though..and we live in the fox capital of Britain!! They are lovely..but trash the lawn in winter.
No sign of eggs. It's a mystery and they should be laying. It's light for long enough. Maybe they are on strike!:rotfl:
Feel much calmer for being back on here and having a sense of where the money is ( or isn't).. Spending some time on Monday sorting it was therapeutic. Week OK...currently sitting in a hotel but that's OK. I have a large glass of wine and am on here...in some ways easier than being at home :rotfl:
A dear friend has asked us if we can holiday together to France this year. They are very frugal...so would be a good choice MSE wise...but I am sure it'll be more expensive than my planned trip to Wales!!! So what do you think girls...? I think I should do the Wales trip...it's not as if we haven't had a great holiday already this year....and then put the savings towards the evil debt. But views?
Take care. See you all soon xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I think the holiday depends on just how big the difference in price is between Wales and France and if you feel it's worth it. Frugal France sounds fab though ....Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hi Brizzle, re the France question
If your friends are frugal then it could be a reasonably priced holiday. However, what does it do to your DF date? How old are the kids, is it to give you all memories or is it just another holiday?
If it meant pushing the date out 2-3 months I'd probably say no
However another part would fancy sitting outside with a glass of wine and fab food :T
