    Hmm.. note(s) to self:

    - do expenses more regularly. £1k again and only a few weeks
    - do NOT play games with only paying off amount when bill due. You are NOT disciplined enough. Pay it across as soon as you get reimbursed even if it means the bank get paid back 'early'

Currently several hundred down on CC used for expenses with willynilly personal spending:o:eek:

    Hi all

So....a blisteringly busy weekend. Up the stables with DDs on Saturday morning - they loved it. Then back for pizza with friends, house full of kids and a well earned glass of wine. On Sunday we baked cakes, went to the allotment, dug in potatoes (so so late:eek: think we will do well to avoid blight), picked lots of rhubarb, planted onion sets (gift from allotment neighbour), came home and tidied garden and planted sweetcorn, more salad, more mangetout and french beans in the coldframe..

Then...I got upset at the unused glut of rhubarb and made 8 jars of chutney (with more for a sauce this week with pork belly methinks).....and then hosted friends. Phew...what a day.

This week is kicking in again workwise so need to make sure I also find time for the more important things in life. OH is popping back for a few days at end of this week which will be lovely. He has also said he'd prefer to go on holiday to Wales..so Wales it is. I have no problem with that! We also have 2 more bookings for the campervan this summer so up to about 4 now. Good news really.

I am completely failing to keep to my budget. MUST do better. Been doing TillyTidies but little point if I keep on busting the budget. Why oh why do I do this to myself? I do well then the lightbulb flickers....:o and I fall from grace. I know the theory..whats wrong with me!!!

Think that's it, folks. Hope everyone is doing well.

    Hugs to everyone

    Brizzle

Blimey what a weekend, puts my hard work to shame !!

Wales it is then ? You will have a fab time wherever you go I am sure. :D xx

Boo...some mange tout are dead....wilted in the heat...damn. Salad seems Ok tho.

Had a great eve on Tues with DD1. Made face pack/ moisturising scrub from end of some natural yoghurt, porridge and honey and it was truly ace. Would really recommend it and great for her teenage skin. We also steamed our faces in hot water which had snipped up mint leaves and lemon geranium ( she is innovative my lass!) in it as well...great fun, smelt gorgeous and didn't cost a bean.

Will never buy a face pack again..although I rarely do anyway:rotfl:

Ooh the face packs sound lovely. I love having a night with the girls and watching movies and a bit of pampering.

DD2 has a few problems with her skin but I have managed to blag so many freebies recently for her that her dressing table is full of all sorts of goodies. Made a lovely new BFF in £u$h the other week and he gave me pots of their fresh face masks for her to try. Once they are gone though I will have a go at making our own now that you have inspired me ! :D

Hi SBO the washing gloop is ace. Used it for months. Not entirely sure why I stopped but when we have finished the sack ( we buy ECo.er in literally sacks!) we will move back.

Face packs..yes amazingly easy Mrs PG.

Also have broken my C&rins habit. Replaced it with EH but twice the product for the cash! :-)
