    Hi all

So today was a work day so up at the crack of dawn..to snow flurries on the motorway..but at least didn't have to sleep in my car u like those poor poor peeps in Sussex!

Back late but have managed to negotiate more paid hours..will write more later. Good news otherwise will never get shot of this debt and the mortgage. Done a Tilly Tidy and checked accounts. Updated Moneywhizz. Checked EBay..one bid has increased, watchers on a few others but not everything :(

Spent on lunch and 2 small EBay items. Clothes but bargain. Jeans for DD1 who desperately needs new trousers and a new top for me..hopefully will jazz up some tired dark suits.

It's such a relief re the hours. I am working them anyway. But off now to see OH and have a glass of vino

Hugs to all who need them x

That is good news, to be paid for the hours you are actually working - fantastic. As long as H0bbs doesn't loom, you'll be finishing off the debts in no time at all.

    Well done!:T

Oh you girls with the too long memories:rotfl:

I must admit I bought a small treat from EBay last night..£18 for yes you guessed it a new H@@bs top! i am NOT I repeat NOT going near their outlet or shop online or a physical shop until these debts are gone:D

Nice to have a drink or two but decided to watch some TV..for once..2 episodes of Broadchurch and I was in bits. Nice to have a cry though:o

OH spending the morning in the garden. Should be the allotment but too perishing cold for that. Worked on the front garden a lot this year and its certainly paying off.

    So today:

    - plan to scoot through diaries
    - do a TillyTidy
    - go to our amazing BYO and have a very cheap but always gorgeous Indian meal with OH to discuss how to manage my formal increase in hours without spending more on childcare, making family life more stressful etc
    - housework
    - spend time with kids
    - watch EBAy and answer outstanding questions on sales
    - finish cooking my cheapie Mr T (uggh but was a bargain:o) gammon in Coke and then glazing as per Ms Lawson. With mash and cabbage it will be WONDERFUL. We usually only have at Xmas. OH is making soup.
    - have pegged out sheets - heres hoping for the sun! fed up of having washing drying on every available surface!

To anyone that has a lodger or thinking of one...any suggestions around whether to cook for them, how much to charge etc etc? We do have people living with us sometimes but they are normally acting as childcarers..so just wondering about this change of tack and whether its worth it. Know Mrs Tilly likes it for the OPs it affords her:T

    The good..

-The sun came out and almost dried the sheets! Made 77p on the panels this morning which is always a good omen. Colder and greyer now though.
-House tidy, gammon boiled and lots of butternut and swede squash soup made.( Bit salty though Mr T..not too impressed even though I boiled up first and threw away the water)
-I am sitting down cruising diaries and having a cup of tea with an hour :Tbefore I need to get to school..could go for a run but do you know what..I am not going to!:rotfl:
-We think we can probably get £50 on eBay for a second hand item...bit of a surprise but here's hoping we do. On other hand, re TrippTrappgate:rotfl: I am losing..OH keen to keep them as used every day and my DDs are wee things! But if we list this I'll be happy!
    - OH back at work now but has made garden look lovely..

    The bad..

I am definitely having a bad run on the domestic appliance front. Dishwasher smelt of burning rubber yesterday. Have called our Friendly repair man but no reply as yet. I feel it could be bad news...:o. There is not much else that can go wrong..or maybe that's tempting fate but we rarely get repair bills, replacement bills etc so I am just not used to this!

    Will keep you posted!

I hope you manage to get the dishwasher sorted without too much of an expense.

Very envious of you having solar panels making you money, hopefully we will have some by next year. i can but dream :D

I would keep tripptrapp :D Not what you want to hear, I know, but they don't seem to lose any value and are a most amazing piece of furniture design. We have thought about buying one for DGD but they are pricy.
