Ace ace evening with some of our gorgeous neighbours...everyone contributed alcohol and food, which just has to be the way to go. We hosted. Just rolling into bed now so a good night!
Tomorrow out and about but will try and pop in from time to time and keep an eye on the goings on! Will also try and be 'Especially MSE' this upcoming week!

So...
Spendy day doing touristy things in Bath on Sunday but we took a picnic and shivered in the square by the Abbey as we ate it! Very MSE! Also got a free journey on the bus as the drivers machine was broken...
We also got 1x free entrance to an attraction... Random act of kindness from one of the members of staff..:D Thank you. You know who you are!
Yesterday met up with my sis which was great but not so MSE. Also had van service, MOT etc....and then full boiler service ( eekkk.....)... But with a fair wind the engineer thinks it could carry on for another 8 years..making a lifetime of 20... so no need to panic yet I hope. I know on Piq's thread there has been discussions re boiler insurance but have to say I have never paid for equipment insurance in my life..too many exclusions. Have to budget for regular services though.
On a good note..made some Tilly tidys..and am still talking to work re getting more help with travel costs and upping my hours..fingers crossed.
Also about to list more stuff on Ebay. Posted more parcels today.its therapeutic decluttering and also getting some money for it!:TMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

I've just added account rounding up to my list of 'how to save towards my Kindle fire' - good idea and I put a princely whole THREE PENCE towards it. Unfortunately we tend to use this account for spends so it tends to be cash withdrawals.....not sure when I'll use the debit card for card payments again but I guess I could also use the principle for my purse.Emergency savings: £0 saved / £4000 target0

Hi Housework Fairy..think for dropping by. Yes I think using it for your cash spends would work too. It just makes me feel I am paying a bit more over to the debt without it being a big deal, plus the act of just checking the bank account every day is a good discipline..reminds me of any sins:rotfl:
I am going to try and redo the sig tomorrow..it must have come down a bit in the last 2 weeks and after all the maintenance bills I need a boost!
No spends today. But doesnt count as a NSD as veg box, milk, eggs etc arrived from R&verford.
Will be on red soon in the car but determined NOT to spend £1.60 litre odd :mad: on fuel at a service station ( all motorway driving this week) and MUST do my mileage this week. Need to stop cash flowing my employer:o

Your day out in Bath sounds lovely. I love it there, but not been for a few years.
I was thinking the Tilly Tidy was a housework regime, I was looking forward to that ( not saying the rounding down of the accounts isn't good as well of course, I like the sound of that too ) but I am getting so bogged down with the blasted housework and ironing , I need a magic plan that will work .
Perhaps the Housework Fairy will come and visit me sometime soon
Agree stop subbing your Company if poss, you are not the bank of Mrs B . Hope you get some news on upping your hours, but dont go wearing yourself out now if you do or I will be telling you off xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !
