Don't know anything about fuel allowances I'm afraid. But I think stricter meal planning might help out with the grocery budget
Challenge the girls to come up with three meals from stocks, they might surprise you.

Thanks Piq..interestingly DD1 has just asked me to teach her/remind her how to make some simple meals so that fits in.
Had to buy fruit and milk today..some of these bits do add up although as I said yesterday am amazed that we will be within our overall budget this month. First time for everything!:o
I have been doing the Tilly Tidy pretty religiously over the last month which must be helping too. I will also put in my expenses tomorrow and diarise doing my mileage (uggh).
An Ebay buyer still hasn't paid..yes its only 2 days but everyone else manages... Not sure what the etiquette is..shall I give them until the end of the working week so Friday?
Apart from the groceries have spent nada so its been a LSD. Not great results on my NSD targets though...must do better in March.
Bit stressed about work. My antennae are 'going' a bit..I sense waves ahead..oh well maybe I am wrong..(but I am usually right on such things:()

Hi Kerri
Its from the lovely Miss Tilly (Tilly MFW in 6 years I think is her full name)... and its basically rounding down your account(s) each day..even if its just pence and sending it to savings..or in my case, my CC debts! It just helps with the debt and paying off more than the minimum.
Its a rather nice routine:rotfl: I am quite addicted now:T

Click the link on the drop-down list that says something like 'Send Payment Information' - that will often do the trick within 24 hours, but if they still haven't paid up 4 days after the auction ends, then you can open an unpaid item dispute. 90% of the time that shocks them into coughing up0 -
Perfect, thanks Caz.
Had a mixed day today:
- railcard ran out yesterday and so tickets today were full price:eek: but found a code online and £8 off the replacement railcard which will be with me ASAP. As it happens not asked for tickets once but would have been too much to risk
- spent some money in JL on DD1 but for first time asked her for money towards a jumper she really wanted. She was really pleased ( yes really!) to put in £20 towards it. So all happy and I felt a principle of her contributing to non essential stuff had been made..she gets pocket money. But drew line and so I didn't make her pay for her bras for example :rotfl:
- lunch out but too cold to do anything else. We needed to warm up.
- asked for freebies in JL at Liz Earle..no moisturisers but quite a nice cleansing kit:T
Might help me kick my cla&ins habit
- think have just broken my bed frame:rotfl:...and I was only getting in to sit down and start posting again:eek: will have to check tomorrow
- boiler playing up....shower refusing to get hot...could be a pricey one. Will know on Monday
- van in for full vehicle and living service and checks today...ditto could be very expensive but am hoping hires will cover any costs this year..so just need to remember that
- chooks are beginning to lay eggs again..roll on summer
Off to see if Mrs PG has got that party underway!!
