Indeed! not mundane, a lovely happy day, even if the potatoes were hiding! I'm going to grow some on the patio next year [actually I ought to do some research about when to plant them, in case I miss the boat]

    Hi both

yes my mum does the same...the potatoes would be fine as long as I collected them earlier..my fault entirely and it was a very cold, wet summer so may not have been a good crop to start with. Weeding the rhubarb patch was fun:eek:..we have 9 huge plants so no shortage of that..must do more with it next year.

So far today..have been to dentist with an infected tooth..so antibiotics for me and strictly no alcohol for 5 days:eek::rotfl: well that'll be a change...:rotfl: but does explain why its been so painful. £26 later..between appt cost, prescription and mouthwash..but back at home now, was pretending to work (I shouldnt be working today but you know how it is) and waiting for OH who is working a half day:T

I could do some housework but CBA...;) Have done some PADs and may well play around on my Moneywhizz app instead!!:p

  • Arrgghh to the tooth infection, aarrgghh to the fee of £26 and an even bigger aarrgghh to the no alcohol for 5 days. Hope the toothache eases once the antibiotics kick in.

Well, a good day despite having to write numerous cheques for school trips, dinners and dental work...

    Highlights include:

-realising that we haven't bought bread since we had the bread flour sack delivered from Shipt@n Milll. Its been HM all the way!

    - putting all the budgets onto Moneywh1zz and realising I have about £430 to put towards debt a month..IF..and it's a BIG if ( hence the capitals ;-)) I can stick to the budget elsewhere..but it's good. That will get hit slightly after January tho and claw back of Child Benefit

    - watching my DDs storm round the half pipe and ramps on their rollerblades. They loved the lack of teenagers (it was cold and wet evening as well as dark (of course!)) and it was great to see them so hyped even after a swimming lesson. OH and I loved it! Then back for use ups meal and lounging about..kids are going to bed later and later but I just need to adapt I guess. Am relaxing now.

Ordered huge bag of logs. Looking forward to a cosy winter now!

Think that's it. Hope all are well..off to read the news online now! Oh and play on Twitter no doubt!:-)

Hi - just a quick one from me as working today.

£2,500 has cleared into my current account which I am now using to pay off the credit cards with the high rates and soon to shift to a high rate as well as act as an OD buffer. So..shortly all my debts (not that they are improving as fast as I would like) will be on 0% and as my mortgage is only 1.69% thats not a bad result:). Now need to stop managing my debt and decrease my debt:( and keep it that way permanently

Have sorted out my expenses and will pop out soon to post them.

More good news is that I had a £36 Co5p voucher so as my shopping bits and pieces were only £24 this morning thats free groceries AND £11 odd in cash in my pocket. Got lots more vouchers through the post and in store today too.

Over and out - have a good day folks

Hmmm.....over and out?? That was nearly an hour and half ago! These diaries are so interesting that time flies past without you realising it! Perhaps they should do site maintenance in the day time rather than at midnight. At least we might get some of our real life out the way....

I agree..I am forcing myself not to open MSE Forums from my phone..that'd be fatal for getting anything else done including paid work!!

Been a slow week, as have been working away so not too many spends as a result. Moneywh1zz is a fab app..really recommend it.

Have been invited to lunch but we decided to be MSE and go for coffee at 2pm instead which will be just as fun. It's OH's last evening here for a bit so will have fish and chips. Much cheaper than us all going out to our lovely local Italian but seems a better option given all the costs we will have around our trip to Aus over Xmas.

Still making HM bread...some more is on now!!
