Thanks everyone!! Lovely to hear from you all.
Tax returns done and paid and the ‘excess’ left in the account has already been put against the next month’s credit card bill. Meal planning going very well and did a 10k run without incident in the driving rain on Sunday so regular running as well as yoga seems to be working for me. I did drink last Friday but no plans to do so until the weekend at least. Not missing it to be honest. Birthdays this week so a few spends, but keeping it sensible. In fact was going to mention that going away at Christmas was a godsend. Didn’t spend more than £40 (it was an X Box game) for each child, their treat was the whole experience and do you know what, they were very pleased with their games. Really showed me that you don’t need much, especially when you are on a fab holiday...(which actually cost a lot, but you know what I mean) Me and OH didn’t give each other anything until end of the hols which worked fine as it was more a momento of the trip, rather than an Xmas gift
OH working too hard. Working nowbut hopefully won’t be for long. Better turn in now. Usual early start tomorrow
Have a good Wednesday all

Well done on getting returns done :T That's my job for next couple of days, aiming to be done by the weekend.
I think the holiday experience is worth so much more than the money spent
Have a good week
