Will think on it NOA..and send some ideas across early in the week..it’s a good task for the train
Super quick round up on the scores on the doors:
5 good things-
- savings/unspent monies were 30% of income!!
- groceries were way less than usual £450 for 5 and that includes organic veg meat and milk
- hit the target for AFDs
- the cooker is all about to be paid for -immediately
- savings stayed steady and charitable giving doubled
Less good:
- decluttering went nowhere I mean absolutely NOWHERE but there are a few things listed on EBay so I will keep trying
- holidays were 18% of spend...now thats a lot...
- spent lots on new trainers and work clothes. Need to rein that in
- our car hire was 4% of our income. Think we need to think seriously about next steps when the lease is up next summer
So that’s the good and the bad.On a non MSE note I have never exercised more and I am prioritising it which can only be a good thing.
I will post some new goals later this eve. Have a great Sunday everyone xxMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

All the positives sounding great brizzle - well done!:j
Re less good - you had a lovely time on holiday with your family with great memories to look back on so I wouldn’t beat yourself up too much on that one!
Re the car - have you ever studied Dave Ramsey’s method on how to end up with a really good paid for car? Though I warn you you the method is not for the faint-hearted if you like to drive a really nice car when building up to the end game!:rotfl:Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

You’re right and they are growing up so fast...Will definitely look at Dave Ramsey...not usually my cup of tea but good idea. And yes think it’s a hybrid next. Not sure I can bear another diesel and we do use the car occasionally.MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Sounding fab Brizzle
I spend far too much on holidays but enjoy them so much I don't begrudge it. Life's too short.
