Nice morning - light and sun peeking through - but no not exactly summer!
Managed a run of 4 miles on Saturday and an exercise class yesterday. Will have a day off today and then a run on Tuesday I think. If I go straight from work that may be best - otherwise it's tea and bed!! I come home zonked.
Decluttering didn't even hit first base (had lots of chores that didn't even get started)but helped DD1 with her final coursework- sitting next to her and bringing cups of tea. We also watched a movie so £4.49 spent. I didn't spend anything yesterday but OH did a grocery shop - some staples and fruit and veg mainly. I also made beef wellington for lunch - it was lovely. Will do that again but fillet is pricey and not much left over!! I also made a Bolognaise for this evening - bulking it out with lentils. It's a good trick and one that I think works well.
Hope everyone has a good day

Your exercising is going well brizzle. The new trainers should spur you on.
Your beef Wellington sounded delicious and I bet there was hardly anything left over!:D

It was great. There is a crumb left that I look at when I go to the fridge :rotfl:
Finding work hard - changes afoot and no clear sense yet of what will happen next or whether it's for the best? Hope today goes better..
In more upbeat news- money set aside for tax. Big TTs made and TCB has come through with a speedy payment so £80.42 in the account. Very welcome. Quite a contrast to the 13 month payment cycle of before. Also a NSD and an AFD! So just in the nick of time I at least get on the board, albeit way off the target.
Hope everyone is well - much love to you all

Also on the plus side I have finally listed about 15 items on the Bay. How jwil does it so regularly and on so many items I will never know. Total respect!! When/if they sell I will knock them off my target. My rule is that its not decluttered until it has left the house
x
Well done on the listings!
It was necessity for the money, but I've slackened off a bit now that it's not so dire. However, the clutter is suffocating, so I need to pick it up a bit again. DH knows he's got to get rid of stuff, so he keeps putting stuff out for me to list.
It doesn't count until it leaves the house here either"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
Hope you find some clarity on the work front brizzle.
Keep on de-cluttering though!:DFinally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hello lovely peeps
Sorry for the absence... real life and all that. Will try and do some scores on the doors and a month round up/analysis later this week.
It's proving tough to make the savings we want to. Stuff always gets in the way, but the direction of travel is the right one. Debt heading south and savings heading north. Setting up the DDs into the ISA and pension work well for example.
Had a good chat with Oh about money and intermediate goals this weekend. Helped a lot. He has also requested a transfer of pension funds to his HL platform which should allow us to manage it better.
Pumpkin and beef stew for dinner this eve - much needed as it's a chilly day here today.
Have a good day everyone. Didn't know whether you come into town via Victoria SSG but thought of you when I braved the Southern line super early on Friday!!MFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal
